Turn It On Electric has been servicing a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential electrical needs in the state of Arizona. We are a full service electrical contractor that provides maintenance and service management of electrical utility systems for numerous local businesses and home owners. Our number one priority is the customer and our list of clients is as diverse as the various needs we are requested to address. We believe that if it isn’t done right, it isn’t done and remind customers that every time a light turns on, thank an electrician, and when it doesn’t, to call us.

Chad Ridenour owner with over 20 years’ experience in the trade has founded the company based on a platform of integrity and highly trained technicians. We considers our core group to not only be project managers but consultants as well. The 15 techs we employee have a range of knowledge that spans over several decades and continue to grow their knowledge to stay up to date with modern technology.

Scott Gibson was my electrician, and you couldn’t ask for better. I needed 5 light fixtures replaced, all smoke alarms replaced, and some honey do’s (like trying to get a bulb out of a socket and a check on the safety of a wall plug that blew a light timer). He answered my long list of questions and did a great job, quick and efficient. Their pricing is excellent, and even before setting an appointment, their office staffer, Tessa, was friendly and helpful. Turn It On will be my go-​to electricians from now on.

I had an electrical issue that turned off my A/​C on a very hot day, called this company and left a message and asked if they would call me back but they never called, never heard from them. Must not need the business. Disappointing.

Turn it On Electric was able to get to our house in Glendale within a few hours after calling them. They sent Pedro who seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Although he had to work for a while outside in the dark he was very efficient and he did a great job. I would definitely call them again.

Made an appointment to get some work done at my house. Made the appointment on Thursday, They told me they could be at my house the next day, Friday, between 1 and 3 pm. they never showed. At 3.45 pm, I called the office, and the lady that I spoke with was very polite, yet told me that the person was way behind, and that they couldn’t make it out. I reminded her that I took a half day off work for this. She then calls back, says that they can’t find anybody for Saturday, and is there a day next week that they could schedule. What, take another half day on the off chance that you will actually show up??? I don’t think so!!! by the way, homeadvisor is a fraud, they won’t post negative reviews.

When our tenants informed us that they were having numerous electrical problems in the house they rent from us, I had nightmares about what the problem might be. The stove was out, the refrigerator blew the circuit, the bedroom lights turned off when the door slammed and then came back on unexpectedly, all of the outlets were loose. So I did a little research on Unilocal and ROC and called Turn It On Electric. They were able to schedule a 2 hour window for an appointment for the next day.
Pedro M. called me in advance, as I had requested, so I could meet him at the house. He listened to the laundry list of problems and went to work. Within 2 hours he had checked the electric panel, tested the problematic circuits, explained to the tenant where high electric use appliances should be plugged in, replaced six outlets, and repaired the stove outlet. It was like magic. I held my breath waiting to hear what the bill was and was absolutely shocked at how reasonable it was. Pedro was so polite and helpful. This is one business card that I’m keeping in a safe place!

Overall I had a great experiences with them. Bill Brown was the technician that installed my fan that required running new electrical for it. He was great! I was quoted a price over the phone and that’s what it was when Bill was finished. I will have them out again to instal a new chandelier.

Pedro from Turn It On Electric did a super job fixing a bad wire/​outlet in the back yard that we should have taken care of long ago. Pedro spent the time (on a hot/​humid day) to do the job right, and pricing was very reasonable. I will use Turn It On Electric again.

I called TIO from the Unilocal reviews, I was amazed — first of all I LOVE Jason as he is the man when it comes to electricity — I have had 2 service orders for in home repair — I am now on the third order for a panel upgrade with Bruce and Jim and looking forward to more great service, my home was built in the 50’s and TIO has done a fantastic job helping us reach modern code from scratch (or worse) thank you!!! Used Turn It On Electric twice in the last month for a new home we bought in Phoenix and very happy with the price and prompt arrival. Most convenient thing about them is, that on both occasions, they were able to provide an estimate by phone that was within $ 20 of the actual price, VERY convenient not to schedule an estimate, then schedule the repair.
They were also about $ 50 — $ 100 less than the best quote we got from other LICENSED electricians in the area. I would definitely use them again, they stand behind their work, one of the things they completed for me was a ceiling fan installation on a 16′ high vaulted ceiling, when they were finished and left, I noticed the fan making a clicking noise when running. They came right back and fixed it, no extra fee, no questions asked.

I highly recommend this company– I called for an appointment for rewiring in my kitchen, and a technician was there within an hour! Not only was he quick and efficient, he also offered help with installing the fixture I bought. They were very reasonably priced. I would use this company in the future for all my electrical needs.

I used these guys a couple weeks ago. The electrician was prompt, professional, and overall my experience was good. I’m a DIY’er, and had trouble with an outside outlet. I was trying to do the work myself, but couldn’t get it working. They came out a few days later (it wasn’t an emergency), checked everything out, made sure all my work was all up to code and done the right way. I appreciated the extra time they took to review my work and to help me get everything working.

When we remodeled our home three years ago, the contractor we used was an idiot. He has wired a number of things incorrectly in our home. I knew Chad trhough a few business groups. I called Turn It On Electric and he sent some real pros over. They diagnosed rapidly the confusing wiring in my home, made the repairs quickly and locked up when they left.
I have since used their company a number of times and they have always been responsive and fair.
