Fantastic local company with a great product!

Bought two mattresses after visiting this store. The service was great even though my rowdy kids made it difficult for the rep to really give his overview. Happy with the product a few weeks in and even if that changes I love how creative and easy their return policy is.

Our experience has been amazing. They have a very supportive staff, with outstanding customer service. The product itself is phenomenal. I have not slept like this in years! The mattress is very supportive and firm… but not too firm (this would be the bed Goldilocks would pick!) I’m very active and have woken up sore many times in the past. I didn’t realize this had to do with the mattress I was sleeping on! I sleep like a baby with Tuft & Needle. The value on these mattress too… they are very fairly priced, and delivered to your door. This is a great company that makes great mattresses.

We have had our T and N mattress for eight months now and we absolutely love it! Our mattress arrived quickly and was easy to unpack and use. We slept on it that night and fell in love with it. You cannot feel your sleep partner moving around and I do not feel the need to find a comfortable sleeping position, as every position was comfortable! We are in the process of moving right now and all we brought to our sons house is the mattress. We laid the mattress on the floor and it is just as comfortable without the box spring. I will never buy any other mattress than tuft and needle!

We just got our bed on Monday, it is now Thursday! It does take some time to fluff out into the size it is supposed to be, so don’t stress!
This bed is the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on. I’m almost 20 weeks pregnant and this bed has significantly reduced my back pain!!!

Anyone who has ever bought a mattress knows the drill. After 2 days of visiting different stores, umpteen options (spring, hybrid, gel, latex, memory foam) and hours of research on the internet i found Tuft & Needle online. I read about them and loved the concept.
As of now they have two stores one in San Francisco and the other in Phoenix YAY!
Next day Me and my Husband went to the store. We were greeted, given bottles of water and walked into a room (fresh sheets) where we could truly test our mattress. I loved the fact that there was no sales person with us in the room. After sometime Jamie walked in she was friendly and nothing like a salesperson (annoying).
We talked about the Mattress and our inhibitions around it. Believe me there were Many.
She answered all our questions and we were SOLD.
There was no pressure to buy the mattress in the store, the employees do not work on commission i think that is what makes a huge difference in approach. We actually walked out and bought the mattress later ONLINE.
The Price is unbeatable for the quality and they have a 100 night trial after which they donate the Mattress and give a Full Refund. The Mattress takes about 3 days to ship. I’m still waiting for mine. Will post pictures once it arrives.
Did I Mention we also got free T&N t-​shirts.

This is probably the BEST customer service I have ever had with a company. I ordered this bed back in January and I think it was at my house within 2 – 3 days. The shipping was incredibly fast. Everything was as stated– open up, let it fill with air… BOOM you have a mattress. I even got follow up emails to see how it was. My husband and I had another foam mattress that I LOVED from Bob’s Furniture, but it was a full and we really needed a queen. So we got this. This mattress was a little softer than I was used to, and I did have some pain in my body in the first few days I was on it (however, it was on the floor as our bedframe didnt come as quickly as the mattress!). I told the customer service about this, and they said it was okay since we had a 100 day trial, and if for any reason we didn’t like it we could get our money back. AND, their return policy is what made me love them. They do not want the mattress back. They have you donate it and then show receipt of donation and then refund your money. How amazing is that?! I knew I wanted to keep the mattress at that point as it was such an incredible policy. I have no pain now, and I honestly look forward to getting into my soft, lush bed every night! The price was amaze, customer service was outstanding, and the product cannot be beat! Keep it up T&N!!!

I got mine a few days ago and I’ve never slept better. Just moved into an apartment so it’s on the floor until I get my frame tomorrow and it’s still amazing on the floor! Definitely 5 stars, I highly recommend!

We have been to several places looking for a bed that supports my bad back. This was our final stop before deciding on something. Everyone was super friendly and I like that you can try the bed out in private. I also love what this company stands for! We ended buying a California King and we can’t wait to get it!!!

Tuft & Needle has become one of my favorite companies, not only because of an incredible product, but because they are one of the few ETHICAL companies to exist, they are LOCALLY-​OWNED, their team is KIND AND PASSIONATE and the owners of the company INSPIRE other businesses to create a sense of COMMUNITY AND HONESTY within their own structure.
The mattress? INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE. We love it.
The order process? SO SIMPLE. I love ordering online; and I love that I can go into their store to try it out in person beforehand.
Delivery? FAST! It was left at our front door and was easy to bring in by myself. Not too heavy!
Setup? Just open the box, carefully cut the plastic and watch it magically take shape!
I don’t usually write many reviews on Unilocal,but T&N are just that good. You will not regret investing in one of their mattresses.

Pros: An open cell foam mattress with a 10 year warranty and a 100 day free sleep test. Unlike closed cell foam mattresses (like memory foam) this foam does not trap body heat and bounces back to normal shape after each use (memory foam can get crushed by your weight leaving a groove in the mattress in the shape of your body).
The staff at the store were wonderful in explaining the product and they have multiple beds for customers to do a test rest on. The mattress arrived in a few days (they deliver it from California) and this is an American made product. After sleeping on the mattress for a few days, I can tell I am going to love this mattress. The price is fair for this quality mattress.
Cons: The store is hard to find, in kind of a sketchy neighborhood, and I had to circle the store 3 times to figure out where I could park. I usually pay cash for goods and services, but you can only buy the product by going online and using a credit card. The staff at the store actually did that for me, but you have the option of going home and ordering online from there.
When the box with the mattress arrives, it is just left at your door. This was a full size mattress and I could barely drag it in the house and down to the bedroom. Wrestling the rolled up mattress out of the box was a Herculean effort that left me exhausted. After resting for a while, I rolled out the mattress and cut off the outer plastic. The instructions advise you to be careful cutting the inner plastic wrap so as not to cut the mattress cover. Easier said than done. As you start to cut the inner plastic wrap, the air causes the mattress to blow up (expand) like a balloon! After finally cutting the inner wrap off, I realized that the inner plastic sheet was now stuck under the mattress. So, with another Herculean effort, I had to lift the heavy mattress with one hand while pulling the plastic wrap out from under the mattress. Pant, pant, pant. .. By this time I was shaking, clammy, and my heart rate and blood pressure were off the chart.
Overall, pleased with the mattress, but wish they offered a delivery and set up service option and accepted payment other than the online credit card situation.

We have been searching for a new mattress for a few months now and are at our wits end to find one. I had heard the advertisements on the radio (Shout out to Holmberg shilling away for T&N) and decided to give T&N a chance.
Let’s be honest, mattress shopping is gross. You go to a place with crazy pushy sales people, lay on dirty beds in the same place that 1,000’s of others have placed their heads, and are supposed to find a match? No, just no. Thankfully T&N gets all that and did away with the gross part of buying a mattress.
We were greeted and offered water (Fiji bottled water, oh you fancy). We did have a 10 min wait due to it being a Saturday and all visitors are given a one on one consultation. Our T&N associate took us back to our own private room, seriously, it was a room made up with a bed with sheets and pillows and we were left to our own to relax. No pushy people looking for a sales reaction, no strangers watching you lay on a bed, just a room like you would see in any other home.
After a few min our associate came back (I think her name was Shelly? I’m bad at names, see all my other reviews) and answers our questions about size, price, style of the bed. She was super informative, helpful, super friendly, and not pushy in the least bit.
The best part about all of this? While waiting for our turn with our associate, I watched a team member change the linens on the beds after every demonstration! No overused stranger pillows. No dirty footprint from the dude who decided to stand on the mattress to do the glass of wine test. Just clean sheets between you and the mattress you are demoing.
This place knows what they’re doing.

I found t&n on Facebook. I did some research because we were well over due for a new mattress, ours is 15 years old. My husband loves hard and I love soft, so I think that is the reason it has taken us so long to purchase another one… that and the fact that we believed we needed to spend thousands of dollars to get a quality mattress.
So my husband and I made a trip to the showroom in downtown Phoenix to try out the t&n mattress. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with the friendliest staff. We signed in and, unlike other mattress stores, taken to a small bedroom that was private so we could lay down and ask questions, all in private! I absolutely loved it!!! No other customers or staff staring at you or trying to up sell you to a better, more profitable, mattress. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed every minute of it!
The guarantee that t&n has is just awesome! We are allotted 100 days to decide if we want to keep it or if we change our minds they will donate the mattress to the less fortunate, which is simply honorable.
So we purchased a King mattress and it arrived at our doorstep 4 days later. It was so nice to not have to lug a king mattress home or arranged to sit in a «delivery window» of 2 – 4 hours. It just shows up at your doorstep.
We set it up, which is the easiest setup of a king size mattress you could ever experience!
Now it’s been over a week and so far so good. It’s a little more firm then I am used to but I honestly believe that I am going to end up keeping it.
The last thing I want to say is that this company went above and beyond not only selling us a great bed but also keeping us happy AFTER the sale.
We arranged to have the Salvation Army come to pick up our old mattress, a free service.
Unfortunately, because the mattress is so old and has stains, they refused the pick up. So now what do we do?
I contacted t&n and they had no obligation to help us get rid of the old mattress. However they went above and beyond and made arrangements to have the old mattress taken away!!! This is an amazing company, from start to finish, they stayed true to their customers.
It is impossible to find companies like t&n anymore and we couldn’t be happier!!!
If you, or someone you know, is looking for a new mattress, you HAVE TO give t&n a try.

This is a good company filled with good people. I had heard about this company on HMS and wanted to get more information. My fiancé used their online chat system and the associate was incredibly helpful in explaining the company. Even patient to wait for him while he was working; and they actually used regular people language! None of that jargon filled sales pitch to leave you feeling dazed and confused. I then went into the store and guess who gives me a tour… the owner! Never did he boast or brag about his success or flaunt his title. He simply wanted to know what our needs were to see if he could help. In addition they have informational videos and test rooms for you visual and kinesthetic learners.
I already was impressed by the amount of donations this company does to help the community, but they take things to a whole other level: THEY ACTUALLY PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The showroom is really cool and the beds are super comfy! We checked out the Tuft and Needle Mattress because they have a showroom and Casper doesn’t — which was huge since you could actually lay on the mattress to try it (and they are $ 200 more) and other mattress options are really pricey.
We were greeted by really nice people and brought into a bedroom set up with a queen sized sample. I don’t know about you, but the way I test a mattress is by flopping and rolling all around it. It was of course super comfy. We pretty much knew we were going to go with this brand anyway, but it was nice to try it out and get some questions answered.
I ordered the mattress that night and we are waiting for it to come in, but since then, we have received a few emails from the staff that were all really nice and personable! It makes such a huge difference and we cannot wait for our bed to come!

I’m in the process of moving to AZ from HI for work, and my wife has been bugging me to check out this place.
She has been doing her research, and really seems to like the concept. So I stopped by the showroom last week to try it out.
Upon arriving, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The lady in front asked me to sign in, and said someone would be right with me.
A couple minutes later a gentleman came to greet me and take me into the showroom.
I got a chance to try out the mattress, and he explained a little more details about it to me. He told me how to order it, gave me a brochure, and sent me on my way.
Great place, great concept, and no pressure. I’ll definitely be purchasing before moving next month.

I can’t keep it a secret anymore! I just got married and I’m having a love affair. I can’t help it! He’s soft, but firm with me. He always comforts me every night after a long day at work. He’s so warm and cozy that I don’t want to ever leave him in the morning to go to work.
I’m thinking about him right now and I just can’t wait to get home to him — my King mattress from Tuft and Needle. *sigh*

I’ve been waking up with so much neck pain the past couple of years and I knew I needed a new mattress. I found Tuft and Needle on Unilocal (thank you Unilocalers) and my husband and I drove over to visit their showroom. I was set to purchase it within 10 minutes and no pushy sales tactics. The mattress arrived within a few days and my neck has thanked me. I literally can sleep on it for hours!

I have been searching for the perfect mattress to convert one of our empty bedrooms into an AirBnb room. I didn’t want to pay TOO much considering it wasn’t going to be slept on everyday but I didn’t want a crappy mattress for guests either! At the recommendation of a friend, I was directed to Tuft & Needle’s full size mattress. The ordering process was a breeze and I received many emails updating me on order and delivery status. Upon arrival, it came in a large rectangular box. I was skeptical — there is a mattress in this thing?
Once unboxed, i unrolled the mattress, poked a hole into the plastic wrap, and let it slowly inflate. It was really neat watching it expand from a thin sheet to this ultra thick memory foam mattress! I haven’t personally slept in the bed but I have had 3 different guests to date, including one who said she has a spinal disc problem. Each of them raved about how comfortable their sleep was! :) They were really pleased with the firmness level (all sleep on their backs).

I’ve been sleeping on it (see previous review), and I’m liking this bed more and more! I suspect after 30 days, I will NOT be returning it as the owners say they will gladly take back.
Customer service is important, and the people who run Tuft n Needle have almost bent over backward for me, and I suspect this is their SOP… I like that! I ordered my 10″ Queen just before leaving town for a week, and because I wanted to be home when it arrived (for obvious reasons), I asked for a specific delivery date, which made for a delayed order by the staff. They accommodated me with no problem, OR attitude, and it arrived exactly as promised, and early enough in the day that I unpacked, unrolled, and unwound so I was sleeping on it that night.
My only issue so far, is that because the loft is smaller than standard mattresses, it’s been difficult to find fitted sheets that fit snug. I like it snug, leaving smooth and unwrinkled sheets… I’ll keep searching, but any suggestions would be welcomed.
I like the bed, and the comfort only seems to get better each night.
