History

Established in 1975.

Forty years ago (heck, even up until early 2015), you may have known us as NHS Phoenix. With help from the City of Phoenix and NeighborWorks America, our non-​profit organization was established. From that point on, we have served more than 28,000 households. And we’re not done yet.

Meet the Business Owner

Patricia D.

Business Owner

Patricia was appointed Executive Director in March 2006 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Her responsibilities include creating a vision for the organization and guiding the strategic goals to better serve clients, stakeholders and communities.

She started her career in Community and Economic Development in 1987, directly after receiving a Finance Degree from Arizona State University. As an advocate, she watches out for the best interests of consumers, especially low-​moderate income individuals and families.

Patricia grew up in rural Arizona in a house her father built, and her parents still reside there! She now enjoys living in the east valley with her husband and three children.
