I create paintings that *pop* in their realism. My recent specialties are portraits and paintings of classic, collectible cars. Check out my website for both of those subjects.

My gift in working with clients is to bring THEIR vision to life, whether it is a mural in a kid’s room, decorative scroll work above a chandelier, or a concrete column made to look like marble.

History

Established in 2000.

My business was originally called E.V.E. Custom Art which stands for Enhancing your Visual Environment. I began modestly by painting a mural in an interior designer’s back yard. I changed my business name a couple years ago to reflect my new emphasis on fine art and also the fact it is all my own work. I have an extensive history of sales and shows of my art going back to before graduating with my Master’s Degree in Fine Art in the early 80’s.

Business Owner

I’ve drawn and painted since I can remember. We lived in Europe when I was young and I have seen many great works of art and architecture first hand! My BFA and MFA are from the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL. I have taught college level studio art courses as well as lecture courses in Art History and Art Appreciation. I was born in Peoria, IL, started school in Glasgow, Scotland then Grenoble, France. I finished grade school through high school in Peoria, IL. After college I taught at a small liberal arts college in Shepherdstown, WV. I have also taught at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ as well as University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ. I also worked for awhile at Phoenix Art Group.
