I think this place is out of business. No answer to emails or phone calls. Going on 2 weeks, anyone have any better luck

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with this establishment. I’ve done business with them twice now. The first was for my sons medical helmet. He had a rather large flat spot on the side of his head. He had to wear a skull shaping helmet called a doc band for 4 months. For years this company has been decorating these helmets with their wraps for free. Any parent can bring their kids helmet to them and they will make the design of your choice for free. They did this really cool Seattle Seahawk design on my sons helmet. It made the whole experience of him having to wear the helmet a little easier on everyone. I was so touched by the whole experience that when I needed to paint my business van, I decided to have them put an awesome wrap on it instead. They did such a great job. It looks awesome and really stands out. I would highly recommend patronizing this business. Good people and high quality work.

I wasn’t going to write a complaint given that the Doc band wrap service is offered for free, but after two months of disappointment I felt the need to write this so other families in the same situation know what to expect from this company. Please bear with my long review…
My twins were fitted with Doc bands in March. On top of the huge cost (not a dime covered by insurance) there is also the sadness of watching your babies have to wear these unsightly white helmets every day. The thing that kept us positive about going into this experience was the idea that we could get the bands wrapped with cute designs. And the fact that we found out The Wrap Shoppe did it for free was a huge relief! I thought this was such an awesome thing they were doing for families like ours who otherwise couldn’t afford to give their baby’s Doc bands some flare. Little did I know it would be so frustrating and such a huge disappointment.
Before the twins got their bands I called to see what the process was. The gentleman I spoke to made it sound so easy and quick. When we were ready to start the design consultation I contacted them again and was told by a gal that the wait time for them to even talk to me about a design was 5 weeks and she basically encouraged me to just forget about it. I told her I still wanted to be put on the waiting list. Then I followed her instructions of submitting my request thru their website. After 6 weeks of waiting I heard that a friend of mine just had her daughter fitted for a band and got her wrap on the following week. The catch was that The Wrap Shoppe was letting clients pay $ 65 to jump in front of others in line. I thought this was ludicrous considering it’s advertised as a FREE service to help out Doc band families. We didn’t have the extra $ 130 to pay to skip to the top of the list (which is where I should have been anyway considering I put my name on the list 6 weeks prior). I decided to call again and see when they’d get to us. I was told, again, it’d be another 4 – 5 weeks. I said fine and continued to wait. I just recently called again and spoke to a gentleman who sat on the phone with me for about 20 minutes going over the designs I wanted and he told me he would get to it later that week. I was excited that finally we were getting somewhere. However, it’s now been over a week since that call and I haven’t heard anything. At this point I’m letting it go but I felt the need to share my negative experience so other families could manage their expectations when they contact this company. Great idea, horrible customer service.

I was initially impressed with the owner Dustin and his graphic designer when I talked with them about doing work for my start-​up company. They committed to doing our logo in 2 weeks and then working with us on design and installation of wrap. After 3 weeks and my repeated calls about the status, Dustin informed me the designer was no longer employed there but that his new designer would have three options for the logo for my consideration later that day (Monday) or the next day at the latest. Finally on Friday at 7:00 PM I received a text with an image of one logo design. I responded to the designer’s text that I would like to meet with him on Monday morning to discuss it and work through modifications. He responded that 9:00 would be fine. He didn’t show for the meeting, only a lame excuse that he was «stuck in traffic». After a complete month of waiting for The Wrap Shoppe to fulfill as much as one commitment, we decided to call it a «rap» and pull the plug.

Amazing business and staff! They designed and wrapped my son’s DOC band free of charge. Super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend them based solely on their friendly customer service.
