Specialties
KaK started in a small rented (shared) kitchen in Tempe, AZ in 2008 with a friend from culinary school. Our humble beginnings of making cakes for people we knew, with word of mouth and the help of a website, we became known for our over the top cakes and gorgeous wedding cakes. Soon we were making custom cakes for corporate events and were gaining national and international recognition. Multiple magazines asked to feature some our creations and have even been featured on CNN.
How did we get our name? A friend commented that we make «not normal cakes but kick ass cakes». It stuck and in 2012 Kak opened its own bakery and cake shop.
Today we have 2 locations: a cake bakery in Scottsdale and another in Phoenix. We are thankful for the customers who we get to make beautiful and creative cakes for, as well as the opportunity to support various charities and causes.
