The CORE Institute – West Phoenix

Writing this on behalf of my wife. Was sent to this Clinic from her main Dr. for a arthritic toe and subsequent sciatica pain. This clinic thru the x-​ray, Dr. Scott and staff were wonderful, quick and very knowledgeable. The breakdown and frustration was when the referral into another Dr. to inject a steroid shot using X-​ray equipment to pinpoint stopped cold. After waiting a week to hear, we contacted BC/​BS our insurance company and they followed the referral back to The Core Institute, where they were told the scheduling dept was backed up 2 weeks. We also called the Core institute and were told the same thing. UNACCEPTABLE… Hire some people… The experience and the Dr. were above and beyond until the scheduling dept got ahold of the referral. We will attempt to avoid this organization from henceforth. Pain does not wait for a scheduling dept that is understaffed.

This place is awful all they want is your money. Daughter broke her arm we let the people know when. They made the appointment to take our money to tell us bring her back in a week to get the cast. Why not tell us the first time they were not going to cast her arm. I will never use another Doctor from their practice again.

I’ve heard some not so great reviews about the Core Institute, but I’m thankful that my experience has been nothing but positive. The staff that I’ve encountered have all been friendly, as well as my doctor, Dr. Patel. I broke my wrist and they have went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed about all my questions.
