Was on the hunt for carne asada fries for my daughter and family for a farewell lunch we were taking her to a Bertos (filibertos, roribertos etc) but the AC was broken and was miserable inside. When I stumbled upon this place.
The skinny
I had never heard of this place but my mom said that we had eaten there a few years ago and we enjoyed it. She was so right the carne asada was juicy and tender but had the BBQ taste from the grill I love they use Mexican sour cream and Mexican cheese. My family got burritos and a tortas and they all let me know that it was great.
The bad
The lady in the front looked shocked when me and my family got in to order it seemed like she was a bit overwhelmed with out order and the drive through orders. After about 10 minutes (great time) we got all of our orders and drinks but the agua de melon (melon fruit drink) didn’t taste that great I wish I got the horchata instead :-(
Overall this place is great a must check out if you are on the westside and have a craving for some great Mexican food.
