Established in 1946.

Since 1946 Six Points Hardware has been family owned and operated. Clem Christison was the pioneer of it all. Later it was passed down to his son Ron Christison and then passed down to his son Tim Christison, the current owner/​operator. Six Points Hardware has set the standard for customer service and product selection.

They are never open. Stopped by twice in a year and both times they were closed. This last time I came at 4 pm on Tuesday and they were closed. Who does this and wants to stay in business

The «Business and Commercial» painted in giant letters on the storage building kept me out of Six Points Hardware more than a decade. No more.
Most Ace Hardware stores are excellent for maintaining homes in an area. Shopping here, one could build and finish a new home, or restore a historical home easily.
This is a spacious, old school hardware store. Long rows of display shelving. Lots of products, many not usually stocked in some stores.
I’ve been able to locate only two rebuild kits for five shower valves at two other stores. Today my hunt was gor 1930’s era hot and cold water valves and seats. Next trip I hunt down the other three shower vslve kits.

My better half drags me to hardware stores occasionally and they usually end up in 45 minutes wild goose chases that leave me cranky. Not here!
The staff here is so helpful they make it easy for us to get in, get out, and get started with our project. They greet you at the door and will walk you to the product that you are looking for. This is especially helpful when I am sent to the hardware by myself (eek!) with a description on what to tell the staff I am looking for.
The prices are more expensive than your big box home improvement store, but I will eat the cost for an amazingly friendly staff and a smaller store that I won’t get lost in.
A note about the name: I’m not sure why it is called Six Points, but the sign out front says Ace — the Ace Hardware website it was listed as Six Points also? Hmm…

Everything you could want in a hardware store! Super friendly and helpful staff will help you with any questions you have without making you feel like an idiot for asking. :-) Now is the time to redo that bed/​bath/​kitchen! Have fun!
