We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retina tear, floaters, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, macular puckers and uveitis.

The main signs of retinal diseases are mainly changes or loss of vision. These include blurriness, distortion, blind spots, floaters, flashes and black shadows.

Our mission is to provide excellent patient care, with compassion and respect, using the highest standards and cutting edge technology.

History

Established in 2011.

After practicing in Phoenix for the last 6 years, Dr. Danesh decided to fulfill his dream of founding a center of excellence for retinal diseases in Arizona.

Arizona Retina Institute was born to provide personalized and compassionate care using latest clinical knowledge, cutting edge surgical skills and the most technologicallly advanced diagnostic devices.

Dr. Danesh is a retina specialist with extentive clinical and surgical experience in the treatment of retinal diseases. He has performed thousands of surgeries and has been an investigator in many clinical trials. He was educated and received extensive training from some of the most prestigeous universities in Canada and the United States. He is currently president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society.
