Established in 2002.

With «Sounds Like Music», Marty once again took a one man custom division and grew the business to support a crew of 15 within 18 months.

It was inevitable that Marty would go into business for himself and in 2002 he established Performance Audio Video Inc.

It began as a 3 man operation and in «typical Marty fashion» he grew it to 32 employees which include a General Manager, 24 installers, 3 Systems Designers, 4 Office Personnel and a fleet of 18 company owned vehicles.

Performance Audio Video Inc. is now based out of a private building which houses his client showroom, warehouse and office facilities.

Business Owner

Marty Guthmiller, founder of Audio Video Inc., has been designing and selling low voltage & A/​V systems in Arizona for 20 years.

In the late 80s, Marty was recruited by «Buzz Jensen’s Sound Advice» to start a custom installation division. Within 2 years, Marty had grown Buzz’s custom business from a one salesman business to a team of 18 installers. After 6 years of success with Buzz Jensen, Marty had made a name for himself in the local audio industry and soon got the attention of «Sounds Like Music».
