History

Established in 2014.

ParentLink AZ is the first U.S. branch of the international ParentLink organization, and is locally owned and operated by Mark & Bethany Sawhill, a husband and wife team who strive to make sure both parents have access to education and support.

Meet the Business Owner

Bethany S.

Business Owner

An elementary school teacher as her first career, Bethany decided she wanted to make a positive impact on families at an earlier stage. She spent many years serving families as a peer supporter before attuning her skills and pursuing certifications in her current field in 2013. She enjoys utilizing her experience as a Certified Labor Doula with Childbirth International, Accredited Breastfeeding Counselor with Breastfeeding USA, Childbirth Educator, Dunstan Baby Language Educator, and Newborn Care Instructor.

In 2015, she will add Postpartum Doula and Child Passenger Safety Technician (aka car seat specialist) to her repertoire of services. She plans to sit for the IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) exam in 2017.

With a commitment to her community, Bethany serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Doula Committee Chair of the AZ Birth Network. She is also an alternate board member of the Foundation of Living Medicine.
