Officemax Phoenix Ahwatukee Foothills Towncenter

I generally don’t find them very helpful at this Office Max but I’m done shopping here. Trying to return things within their specifications and yet was treated horribly by the clerk. What company doesn’t give cash back when receipt shows purchase was done with debit card? She got very nasty and even challenged me to step behind the counter to do her job when I asked her about that. Seriously? Is that the kind of customer service they teach? Even when I asked to speak to a manager, they couldn’t be bothered to come to the front, just responded over her headset. They’ve lost my business for good.

I am not really a fan of OfficeMax. I usually go to the other office supply store but this one saved the day for me at work. We had a project at work that required we get a custom made rubber stamp asap. I called around and my usual store said it would take 24 hrs. I called this OfficeMax and they said they could do it in 10 minutes. Really!?! Ok. We are on our way.
We walked in and sure enough they got it done it 10 minutes. The store associates were very nice and helpful and the price they quoted on the phone was what we paid. They really saved the day. We were able to finally get our project done. I don’t think we will ever need emergency rubber stamps again but it is nice to know if we do they can get one made that fast. Now it is possible the other office supply store could have done it as fast but they didn’t say that on the phone. Plus to see how easy it was to make the stamp to say 24 hrs seems ridiculous. It takes 10 minutes then you make me wait the other 23 hrs and 50 minutes come on. Maybe you are just trying to under promise and over deliver but when I need something right now I don’t have time for that. If you can do it right now say so and you will get my business because that is what I need.
I may not go back to OfficeMax but my opinion of them was raised a lot that day. Thank you OfficeMax for saving the day.
