Bliss/​Rebar was such a cool spot, i brought some friends back the next night to have some drinks and food! Guess thats what it all about!

Unilocalers in da house…
Ok now thats out of the way this was a really fun event. The atmosphere was awesome from the clothing to the dj’s and performers to just the location itself. What a great set up.
The staff was really friendly and helpful with everything. The drink specials were great i tried the Walter Cran-​Kite and the special lemonade both. Were trouble as they tasted great and were deceivingly alcoholic.
The food was good it started coming at a pretty good pace in the early going but did seem to taper off quite a bit after the first hour. I really liked the coconut chicken as the flavors were just such a different blend that worked. The BBQ chicken cracker was also a fav. The burgers were juicy but seemed lacking maybe they needed a condiment or some more seasoning but they were just a bit bland.
I was also bummed that when I went back to go spray paint a shirt they were gone due to a build up of fumes… this is a 90s party what better way to remember the 90s then a trip down rattle can high highway (kidding).
Overall a totally rad event thanks to the staff at Bliss/​reBAR and Unilocal can’t wait to kick it with the Unilocal homies again soon.

Another TOTALLY RAD Unilocal Event!
Yet again the PHX Unilocal crew went all out in highlighting a great business. The staff, managers and owners of Bliss/​reBAR were tha’ BOMB! They put their best foot forward and luckily the night time temp were perfect for selling their AWESOME patio and their tasty food.
I had so much fun making my graffiti T-​Shirt and listing to some jams that had gave me some serious FLASHBACK. The DJ was totally on top of his game and the dance crew knew what was up.
The artist was really working on an intriguing mural… Star Wars theme… C3PO break dancing…
Got to hang with my favorite Unilocal Homies! What more could a person ask for, Yo?

Another wonderful Elite event! I love the variety and how there’s always a fun twist.

Yet another excellent gathering with my fellow Unilocalers. The DJ, dancers, drinks, nibbles, and especially having Bliss/​ReBar as venue all added up to a delightful evening!

What? An invite to the Notorious Y.E.L.P. to kick back with my homies? You KNOW this! But what should I wear? Fortunately, I had to look no further than the charcoal sketch of Tupac hanging above my fireplace for inspiration. And Baby Mama simply dusted off the VCR and plugged in a VHS tape of In Living Color and … holla! … instant Fly Girl!
Loved the place! Bliss occupies the space where nine05 was (and Fate, prior to that). I dug all of the ironwork in reBAR and outside in the breezeway. Lindsey, as always, put on a great event and it’s always nice to have Thomas S as a co-​host. (Thank you to the ownership for «lending» him to your new place for the evening. We love Thomas!)
Some other takeaways from last night:
— 12oz X 3 = 36oz. So walking around all evening with three Bud Lights in one hand was the closest I could come to 40 ounces, since they weren’t serving forties commensurate with the theme.
— I would’ve participated in the dance off, but I was wearing house shoes rather than my customary Pumas and they would have rendered my footing at a marked disadvantage to that of the Furious Styles Crew. (Crew … consider yourselves lucky).
— David B, at first, was apologetic for not participating in the theme, when in reality he came dressed as my high school economics professor. It was very 1991. Well played, David B. Well played.
— Teresa F’s throwback Kevin Johnson jersey brought me right back to 1993 when the Suns defeated my SuperSonics in seven games in the Western Conference Finals. Fortunately I was wearing locs last night, so nobody could see the tiny tears in my eyes as I recalled those dark days.
— Tomato and cheese comfort crisps, chicken skewers, the grilled cheese (yum), and the pretzel mini burgers were all a hit. Makes me wanna come back another time to take advantage of Bliss’ «Twofer Tuesdays» special.
— Oh, and if it’s true that Dottsy Z actually dressed like that in the early nineties, then girl … why weren’t you in my lif

Great event last night! I’ve always wanted to check this place out. It’s a great place to hang out and enjoy the downtown Phoenix weather. Bought 2 of the Groupon Bliss/​ReBar advertised and I can’t wait to go back and taste some goodies!
I loved the graffiti shirts. They gave each and everyone of us the opportunity to express our creativity — Unilocal style!
The food was pretty good too! I really liked the chicken nacho/​chips (?), the kabob and the burger — my friend thought the buns tasted like pretzels. :)
The break dancers made the night interesting poppin’ their moves throughout the evening. DJ Decipher was great too! Wish I could have him over for my parties.

What a great place for an outdoor gathering. The Rebar bar was amazing and I could not believe all the great iron work there.
The Bliss side was cool with the unisex bathrooms and the great décor.
The Unilocal Staff was inviting as usual. They must not like their jobs at all.
The Bliss/​Rebar staff and owners are some of the coolest folk around. Talk about service… they were on it. The food was a bit slow coming out and seemed to be gone as soon as it came out but what I had WAS GOOD. Pre sauced toasted ravioli on a skewer… no bueno, the sauce falls off as soon as you tilt it. LOL It missed my RAD 90’s METROCENTER shirt.
The music and dancer and art guys are fun to have around. They can kick it up when needed. I wish I could rap like that.
Thanks Lindsey, Gabi and the other Unilocal staffers there. Thanks to Bliss and Rebar and their great staff. I had fun and will most def return.

This party was straight up my alley… does it get any better than old skool hip-​hop with b-​boys, b-​girls, and the grafitti art? How in the hell do you spell graffiti? Two t’s or two f’s? Damn…
I had so much fun! This party was a total blast and brought me back to my wannabe Fly Girl days… yes, I said it. I enjoyed dancing a bit to the music and making my very own grafitti tee… I just need to shred it up a bit.
The food was good with what I tried and specialty drinks (Pom Vodka and Lemonade with Vodka) good. I think my fave was the chicken on a skewer. The wait staff were very friendly and down with the «crew.»
Love, love, love the Unilocal sunglasses we got. My three old keeps trying to take them but she’s straight trippin…

I feel a rhyyyyme comin’! Yo, yo, yo, check it… ehhh, forget it! =)
VENUE: Artsy, contemporary and fresh! (Gets mad points, yo!)
FOOD TASTING: Sliders were über good (soft tasty buns and nice seasoned patty beef), coconut chicken skewers were delish (excellent grilled flavors), cheese crips (if I recall correctly, very crispity and crunchity with fresh tasting flavors).
COCKTAIL: Cran/​Apple Vodka — Nice and refreshing, Lemon Lime — Ditto!
ENTERTAINMENT: Poppin’! Off the chain! Great rhymin’ and DJ spinnin’! Slick, drop it like its hot, pop’n’lock street moves!
Mad props to Lindsey for throwin’ a HIP, UBER cool event!

Yo, Yo, a decent event, gourmet nachos, local beer and a patio for nice weather.
We were able to try our hand at creativity with some shirts and spray paint, and expand our Unilocal gear with a slick pair of shades.
Overall the food was pretty good, I never had a four nacho with pesto on it. It was good. the grilled cheese was decent it was very similar to what i make at home with a nice cheese and thick bread.
I was very glad to see a local beer on tap, this is always a big plus.
Service here was pretty good and kept up the crowd decently.
This seems like a nice patio to hit up down town for a drink and app. Word.

Loved it!!! We were here for a Unilocal event and after trying the samples, we decided to do dinner. They had a special for Tuesdays: 2 burger or chicken sandwiches, 2 drinks, and a big plate of fries to share for $ 20.
Got to sample the comfort cheese crisps (white cheedar and pepperjack)…wow, love cheese then on crispy flaky tortilla pizzas, sign me up! Sampled the fried sausage ravioli with tomato ragout, mouthful of goodness. I saw the cocount chicken tenders, but they were inhaled before I got a second look, so I will be back to try those.
Ok back to the Tuesday special, we each ordered a bliss burger (I ordered mine with cheese). The burger was served on a pretzel bread (SO SO good) and the cheese was melty, loved the combination of textures and flavors. We got the salt and pepper fries, yum. The other folks at our table ordered teh parmesan fries (not too shabby either).
The owners were out greeting, serving, and do everything to make everyone welcomed. They are so friendly, love them! I need to come back to try the mac and cheese, I have been hearing good and yummy things about it.

First of all, thanks to Unilocal,Lindsey, Thomas, and the great staff at Bliss/​ReBAR for a fun evening! The turnout was pretty large– I don’t think the kitchen could keep up! We felt so bad for the servers, who we saw get pounced on by hungry guests everytime they emerged from Bliss, the restaurant side of this establishment (ReBAR is, as you’d have guessed, the bar side). Special props to Keith for seeking me out, as he promised he would, when the kitchen finally cranked out some of those terrific pretzel-​bunned mini-​burgers! I also sampled a few «comfort crisps» (tomato/​mozz and a pimento cheese). Never did get to try the ravioli nor the grilled cheese, the latter which I’d heard was very good…
Thanks, also, to Kevin (owner?) and another server (I’m so embarassed to have forgotten your name!) for lighting up those two heat lamps to help keep us warm as our group tried Bliss’ awesome «2 for Tuesdays» deal of two burgers (or chicken sandwiches) and two drinks for $ 20! You must get the burgers «loaded» (w/​bacon and melted cheese!). These sandwiches also came w/​sides of fries, and we tried both the seasalt and pepper and the parmesan versions– the clear winner was the seasalt!
We’re definitely coming back soon!
p. s. The breakdancers were so much fun to watch! Also great to hear a few tunes by Bel, Biv, Devoe, and I can’t wait to see how my grafitti shirt turns out!
(BTW, here we were thinking that Thomas and staff might come to regret leaving out spray paint cans for Unilocalers to have fun w/​, and I indeed saw one or two servers check the scene out, but instead of admonishing us about the mess that eventually ensued, a server actually asked if we would like more light turned on so that we could see! What great service!)
