We specialize in custom counter tops in all sorts of materials, from granite and quartz products to Eco friendly materials. We have programs for any project, whether contemporary, classical, or environmentally conscious in design. Our business focuses on quality of installation at reasonable prices to make it easy to support our local, family owned and operated business, which is a practice we firmly believe in.

History

Established in 2003.

We began as a high end custom home fabricator, but adapted to a changing economy by expanding into residential and commercial remodel. We have maintained the «custom fabrication» mindset and apply that to all projects, large or small.

Northman Marble & Granite has installed counter tops in thousands of kitchens and bathrooms, as well as hundreds of custom counter tops for local hotels, restaurants, and condominium projects.

Business Owner

After two years as a site foreman on commercial installations, six years as an installer in both commercial and residential projects, two years in sales and customer service, and two and one half years as shop foreman for a large production shop, Brian decided he had the experience required to properly found his own business based on a high level of service in all these areas and be able to maintain a personal touch on each project. To this day, he is involved in every project to make sure that from start to finish, he can comfortably be proud of the work that is being done and the level of service that is being provided.

Jamison at Northman is so helpful! He really knows his stuff. I use Northman often for my clients’ projects at Good Guys Remodeling. They have every surface material needed for renovations and home projects, including beautiful sinks. The quality of their workmanship is wonderful. When in need, Jamison is my go-​to guy. He is prompt and courteous. I would definitely recommend Northman if you’re shopping around for countertops, stone, etc.

I worked with Shelley at Northmans. From start to finish the entire experience was textbook perfect. Shelley did a great job, and she really listened to my wants. She was able to point me in the right direction and helped me to find a stone that would work best, but at no point was she over baring and she never tried to sway me to her likes. (it seems like this is the trend in this field right now) Shelley was also easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions in a very timely manner. The template and install crew were also great to work with. This was a five star experience for us from start to finish. Thank you to the crew at Northmans. I am very pleased with the final out come.

Northman Mable and Granite is nothing less than phenomenal! Shelley goes above and beyond to make sure my clients are satisfied and simply delighted. If a client loves a particular countertop but it’s out of their price range, she will suggest other option that get the same look but at an affordable price. If there is a remnant piece that works, she lets us know so that the client doesn’t have to pay for the full slab. If my client wants a certain color but doesn’t know what material they want, she will do the work to find the best options for the budget and needs. She is always quick with her quotes, usually within 24 hours if not the same day… and the quote format is the best you’ve ever seen. It includes everything they are charging for, an exact layout and template, and how the cuts will be laid out on the slab. Most other fabricators send you a number in an email and that’s all you know. And at the end of the day, their quotes are competitive, craftsmanship immaculate, and the customer service the best you’ll find.

I had no idea what to expect. I am doing a complete remodel. Floors, walls, well, you get the idea… anyway, I called Jennifer at Northman, who was beyond pleasant and easy… they came out and measured, I had picked the Caesarstone… The turnaround was about 2 – 3 wks. Damian, then arrived with a co-​worker. With the correct quartz, cut to the extent that even the difficulty around bull nose corners slipped into place flawlessly. Damian was really challenged by a Teak furniture cabinet (vanity) and over an hour of adapting the deep Kohler sink and very difficult under counter securing and fitting, finished the job way beyond what I knew was going to be an extraordinary issue… I was amazed by his patience and intelligence at finishing it perfectly. The management at Northman has this idea that it will just be done right… and in this valley I have fired 6 crews for various reasons off this job… You want it done right for quartz counter tops? Here’s your solution…

I take their quotes straight to my clients because I know their prices, for the level of quality they put out are unbeatable and I can rest easy knowing that I have Northman and their team of pros on my jobs. I have been a General Contractor in the valley for over a decade and I know a good thing when I see one. If you are considering new counter tops than Northman is your only choice as far as I’m concerned. Ask for Shelley. She is an amazing sales rep and you will love working with her. Her knowledge base is hard to find in this industry and what sets her apart is the fact that she genuinely cares about her customers’ bottom lines and ensures a fluid transaction from initial consult to install. I had a fabulous experience with Jamison! He is extremely talented at explaining the pros and cons of color and material choices and was very knowledgable about correct installation and support needed for my countertops. He also had great recommendations and connections with other businesses to help provide the other materials I needed to complete my remodel. I can certainly recommend him, he can even repairs cracks in granite!

There are plenty of Phoenix granite fabricators in the valley, but finding one that is fair priced, quick to respond, and keeps their schedule as promised is not! We shopped plenty of fabricators in the valley and read thru tons of reviews. Northman didn’t have any reviews so we were a little nervous about contacting them. Shelley, Northman’s manager was AMAZING. She got us quotes quickly, and answered all of our questions by a phone call or text minutes after we asked. She called around Phoenix slab warehouses to help us find the perfect pieces for our kitchen. We got down to the wire with making a selection and while other fabricators were 2 to 3 weeks out, Shelley got our quartzite slab and ceaserstone done in a matter of days. Installers were great and professional. Our ogee edge couldn’t be more beautiful, and out mitered edge on the ceaserstone is flawless. Northman handles all kinds of countertops and all price ranges.
