Description

Specialties

BIT is a research-based, non-invasive therapy that improves the flow of information to the brain using principals of acupressure and applied physiology.

It can treat a wide variety of issues, such as:

Memory, focus and concentration issues

Stress, anxiety and depression

ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning disabilities

Hormone imbalances and allergies

Reading, spelling and math issues

PTSD and other trauma, including TBI

The entire process typically takes between 10 – 15 hours, spread over several appointments. Each area of the brain is systematically checked and when a blockage or miswiring is located, it can be removed and a new circuit can be created, thus changing the electromagnetic flow of information and improving the overall functioning of the brain. Many clients see results after just one session. Others after a few. Or a client may have to wait to go through the full BIT process before everything begins to truly «click into place» and the client sees the full integration of his/her brain enfold.

In most cases, BIT is a permanent solution and need no further integration or follow ups. Many clients are able to go off medications. It can truly be a life changing event, whether you are age 7 or 70.

History

Established in 2011.

As a former teacher and administrator, Melissa saw many children and adults alike who struggled to meet their potential, despite the educational techniques and medications employed to help those individuals. When she discovered Brain Integration Technique, she saw the potential to empower people to transform.

Melissa opened her practice in Prescott, AZ in 2011 under Northern Arizona Brain Integration Llc, and began treating clients of various ages, learning disabilities, physical and mental ailments. In 2014, she saw the need to expand her practice to include the Phoenix metro area… and thus birthed NeuroBella. Melissa currently practices Brain Integration out of both her Prescott and Peoria offices, and feels continually blessed to see the transformation in her clients lives everyday.

Before coming to this incredibly rewarding field, I was in education for 10 years. I taught students from preschool to 8th grade in various capacities, including whole class, reading remediation and gifted education. I conducted school wide testing and placed students in special services. I also contracted with the Arizona Department of Education as a Capacity Building Coach for many years and served on the advisory committee for the Arizona state legislator for a bill concerning students with disabilities.

Through these experiences I consistently observed students struggling with learning and/or behavior problems that didn’t seem to respond to medication, various teaching techniques, or remediation. Part way through my graduate courses I knew there was something missing that I had not yet learned that could help these students.

I have found BIT to be that missing link for many people — adults and children alike. I began studying BIT in 2010. Soon after I opened my first practice, N
