Mosharrafa Plastic Surgery

I saw Brandie a few months ago because I wanted to look more mature. I know this is counter intuitive to why most people get injections, but too youthful of an appearance does not help in the world of real estate.
She was very patient in explaining how the process works and what to expect. It is a build up. Less is more. You can always put less in, but once it is in, it’s in. It made sense. So we took things slow. She gave me her expert advice in pinpointing exactly what to do to achieve the look that I wanted, and stuck within my budget. I went back to consult about more injections in my chin.
Now, it will swell but the swelling goes down for a subtle change, which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a more enhanced appearance and that’s what Brandie gave me. The best part is that nobody even knows that I got anything done, they just say that I look really good.
I only have positive things to say about Brandie. I could sense that she truly cared about my satisfaction and did everything in her power to make that a reality.

Went in to Brandie for a consultation, my first time ever getting lip fillers and HAD SOMEONE WITH me. We are still laughing how the heck we went in there knowing my first time and it was just to get lips not even an explanation or consultation… He even says it’s our fault we didn’t stop it and just not get them. But she was setting up and everything and me being the person I am I wanted them right away!!! She really had just planned on doing my lips!!! Lol. NO explaining of you need to build or anything so I was thinking you know that swelling wouldn’t go down. NO EXPLANATION OF ANYTHING!!! I Was in and out 25 mins tops. 15 of the 25 was the numbing 10 mins tops was spent on filling my lips! I was as well as being talked into a $ 350 face kit. Which I love! The swelling went down 12 days later and I was upset like what?! They look the same as they did before! It was like nothing had been done to my lips… Remind you that I had never been explained it needs to build and I had very small lips. So, I called the front desk on a Monday and asked to leave a message for Brandie as she is not in on Mondays. Receptionist then proceeded to ask for what and I said I was not happy and she then wanted me to talk to the manager Kara, the lady who takes care of everything there. I said there’s really no need I just want to get them done again and leave a message with Brandie, because I wasn’t informed ONE wasn’t gonna be close to enough for me to be happy. The manager then went on to be sweet and say come in tomorrow and we will try to discount you and make you happy. Man… Brandie was the rudest person EVER because I got a discount… She literally was so rude to me and I kept trying to tell her I wasn’t calling to complain… Needless to say discounted is still $ 350 as the fillers there are $ 500 (but it wasn’t about the money, I felt so out of place even being there because Brandie told me she has way too many customers she didn’t need to do my lips at a discount… (Literally this is how rude she was, only one of the comments.) I was in and out with numbing 7 mins tops. This is what happened when the swelling went down two weeks later. (Picture attached) Uneven. All she cares about is the money. I finally listened to one of my best friends and got fillers by the most amazing lady who fixed my problem and (a lot cheaper) and I was there 1:15 from talking explaining everything she did with my lips to make them perfect. I wrote an email to the manager with the picture attached when my lips swelled down to be uneven like this and got no response until a Unilocal review was written. I just want it made aware Brandie is not someone you want on angry with you while getting something done. Try ageless mi medspa. You’ll get a much better experience and the attention you deserve for the Money being spent. Same facial products much cheaper and they team actually cares about you. :) $ 1200 later this is what my lips looked like. I wrote a private email to the manager replying to this two weeks ago and wasn’t replied to, hence my reason for Unilocal.I really hope This helps someone! It’s crazy how nothing was explained! Literally just want your money. Which isn’t an issue for us, in any way, was even going to go to the surgeons for an eye lift procedure, but he was with me for my «consultation» and would never trust it after this anyways… As well as I was going to continue $ 350 facial Kits, which I was told a discount the first time so probably more around $ 400. it’s the principle and it’s so unfair. I have denied any help because after a Unilocal review someone wants to talk now. I find that really sad. I wish everyone luck! I just was an unlucky one! Xo

The statement that you «can’t change someone who doesn’t see an issue with his own negative actions» is very true.
I apply these statements to you Dr. Ali Mosharrafa. How many patients to date have you harmed besides me? How many patients came to you in good faith and have been harmed by your carelessness and lack of concern for their health and welfare? I know of six patients who came to you in good faith and had their health care abandoned.
I only had to pay $ 12,900 to have my face disfigured. How did you handle my situation? You shoved me out the door when I was very ill and told me to see another plastic surgeon. Very admirable, Dr. Mosharrafa; very reputable — NOT!
Today I am seeing colleagues of yours to repair the mess you created for me. A doctor with scruples would never allow this to happen! You should be embarrassed and ashamed, to say the least, but that is not who you are. You took our money and that is all that matters. My face is lopsided. The professionals referred to my situation as «movement on the right side». Once again, I refer to my botched up face lift as uneven and lopsided. I looked better when I went into my consultation than I do today.
I, as well as the other innocent individuals, who paid you large sums of money to also be disfigured, don’t understand how you can continue to practice.

Dr. Ali Mosharrafa is the BEST plastic surgeon EVER!!! I was a patient of his in 2000 when I had my silicone implants replaced with saline. My results were Amazing! 16 years later when one of my implants ruptured — I, of course, went back to Dr. Mosharraffa. Again, my results are AMAZING and beyond my expectations. The care I received before, during and after surgery was exceptional. Dr. Mosharrafa and his staff genuinely care about their patients — They treat you like family!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Mosharrafa to anyone considering plastic surgery!!!

Dr. Ali Mosharrafa was compassionate and thorough both before and after my breast reconstruction. I feel confident and well cared for throughout the entire procedure. The office staff is friendly and efficient, Surgery Center the same. Through a difficult time in my life I thankfully chose the right Plastic Surgeon. Highly recommended.

Run don’t walk away from this doctor. I was lucky enough to have insurance cover a breast reduction so I wanted to be sure that it was done correctly and making me small enough. I stressed over and over, brought pictures, talked to the nurses, to no avail. I started with a DDD size and ended up with a DD. When I wanted it fixed, I was told I would have to pay another $ 6000.

It has been about a month since my «mommy makeover» and I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mosharrafa and my entire experience. As a physician myself, it was very important for me to do thorough research about my surgical candidates before I trusted any of them with such an invasive procedure.
I had started my journey to pre-​baby body by interviewing several other «popular» plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale/​N. Phoenix area. I could not stand the cocky nature of the other surgeons and their quotes were quite high. A friend had referred me to Dr. Ali Mosharrafa and I set up my consult (which he does not charge for). I felt an instant connection with Dr. Mosharrafa. He was kind and passionate about his patients and what he does. Not only did his words articulate this, but his body language reflected this and was also consistent with his words (I have a background in cognitive neuroscience and I’m fascinated with deception through body language). This made me feel safe trusting him as my surgeon. It was also really great that he was priced less than his competitors.
The morning of the surgery, I showed up to Piper Surgical Center (Scottsdale Shea) and 2 out of the 3 nurses who worked with me for pre-​op prep commented on how all the nurses were excited to have Dr. Mosharrafa working in their hospital due to his stellar reputation and warm demeanor (he had recently moved his overnight surgical location to Piper from somewhere else). This helped confirm that I had made the right decision when choosing a surgeon. Nurses always know the real truths behind the docs…
When I awoke from surgery Dr. Mosharrafa was right there talking gently to me about how well everything went. He gives his patients a cell number to use at anytime to contact him directly if there are any questions or concerns. I never had to use the number, but it was reassuring to know that I had a direct line to my surgeon.
I visit Dr. Mosharrafa every week still to monitor my progress and get my embrace scar therapy tape changed. I loved my results just 4 days post op, even though the best results don’t come about until 6 months, or so (which varies by person). He gave me a soft, natural, sexy look that me and my husband are enthralled with.
I look at my results and I am so glad I chose Dr. Mosharrafa. I love how my entire body looks. He is truly a surgical artist with a passion for what he does!

This was a couple of years ago, and perhaps things have changed now, but it’s bothered me for so long I feel like I have to share it.
I had a consult for reconstructive breast surgery following breast cancer. I am a very proactive patient– I had done a lot of research on my own and knew what options were available, but I needed to discuss those options with my (potential) plastic surgeon to decide which one was best for me.
The doctor here refused to discuss options with me, focusing instead on only one type of surgery. I felt that a good surgeon, even if he wasn’t comfortable PERFORMING other types of surgery, should have been willing to educate me and answer my questions, or even refer me to someone else who could. Not here! I ended up leaving, unhappy with my experience. Needless to say, I did not hire them. I saw 2 other doctors first, who were much more forthcoming with information, and ultimately decided on an entirely different procedure than the one these doctors wanted to perform.
I’d heard a lot of great things about these doctors, and perhaps they are phenomenal for cosmetic surgery. But I would not recommend them for reconstructive patients.

Dr. Mosharrafa is incredible as a surgeon. I’d recommend him to anyone. You’re definitely in good hands!

Their aestheticians are amazing. If you’re at that age where you’re really not a candidate for a facelift then you really need to look into injectables and good skin care procedures. I have to tell you that they are amazing at what they do. The staff is wonderful and it’s a beautiful, welcoming environment. Michelle keeps me looking the best I can be.

I did the procedure on Thursday and I’m VERY pleased with the results. Bandages came off on Monday and there was minimal pain. I was so happy that Dr. Mosharrafa does not «pack the nose» as I’ve heard that is the most difficult part of the procedure to deal with. Having my nose drain onto a gauze is not only more comfortable but it just seems like a much more natural way for my nose to begin the healing process.
I experienced a post-​op trauma on Sunday night. (I got hit right in the face while still wearing the bandages). I ended up calling Dr. Ali at midnight through tears and he was very considerate and reassuring. When I saw him the next morning he again reassured me that it was best for me to have called and that he was there for ANY questions or concerns.
For bed-​side manners… he gets and A+. For skill and expertise A+. For being a person that you just feel confident and trust in… A+. I’m very happy with my new nose and my choice of Drs. I would certainly recommend him to anyone!

I have known Dr. Ali Mosharrafa since 2002 when he did my reconstructive surgery following breast cancer. I subsequently had a couple of cosmetic procedures done by Dr. Ali as well as Michelle Cesena, one of their licensed paramedical aestheticians. Dr. Ali and all of the staff have often felt as much like family as medical providers. I would highly recommend all of them to anyone looking for cosmetic or reconstructive surgery or procedures.
