History

Established in 1985.

Dr. Gary Mackman, a board-​certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained corneal, refractive, and cataract surgeon, has practiced in the valley for over 25 years. Dr. Mackman received his B.S., M.D., and residency training at the University of Wisconsin. Following residency, he completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Florida. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and a member of the Castroviejo Cornea Society. Dr. Mackman is past president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society and has helped thousands over the years being named a «Top Doc» in both local and national magazines. Dr. Mackman has given lectures, presented exhibits, and taught courses at major ophthalmology conventions.
