History

Established in 1962.

Julian Robert McDaniel, born in 1933 in Nashville, TN began his career employed by Virgil Moss Sign Co., Sun Valley Sign Co. and his final employer before becoming a entrepreneur was Clyde Fitch Sign Co. In 1962, Julian and wife Marjorie Carol, raising four children, opened and operated MacDaniel Sign Co. Working out of a 500 sq.ft. location on E. Broadway, Julian sub contracted work for Clyde Fitch until Clyde passed away in 1969. In 1969 – 1982 Julian and Marjorie Carol worked together from their backyard covered patio on W. McDowell creating hand lettered signs & silk screening Real Estate signs for Ed Post Realty (now known as Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage) and many others. Marjorie Carol’s interest in expanding their company in 1972 created the first professional installation service in Phoenix-​Metro, Las Vegas & Tucson installing Real Estate posts for Red Carpet Realtors (now known as National Advantage Realty) then Ed Post, ERA & several others.
