Established in 1963.

Jack’s Automotive opened in 1963. 40 years later Val Essset bought the business from Jack and has owned and ran it for the last 15 years. Taking the shop from 2 bays to 14 with a total of 7 technicians.

I highly recommend this family-​owned business. They’re honest, straight-​forward, and do good work. They’re also reasonably priced. I brought in a replacement part and they installed it.
Normally, I go to Toyota b/​c I don’t really trust mom-​n-​pop auto places, but am tight with money, so I shopped around and am so glad I did so! Go Unilocal! I’ve needed to replace the driver’s side rear view mirror for over a month… because Toyota part= $ 200 and Toyota labor= $ 110. Toyota Estimate Total: $ 310 and an all-​day drop off.
Online purchase of brand new, knock-​off «after market» auto part: $ 45. Jack’s 1-​hour labor: $ 67. Actual Total= $ 112 and 1h 30m of my time.

Brought Infinity in due to irregular idle and service engine light on. ECM/​ECU main computer was haywire. Had the replacement part shipped to the shop and installed and programmed the next day! Fast and detail oriented service at a competitive rate. I am very satisfied with the service at Jacks Automotive Services and would recommend this shop to anyone.

7 years and 30+ visits with several different vehicles and only one mistake that was corrected immediately. These guys are always fair, have the best work ethic and never have a problem explaining everything in detail. I now live 35 miles away, but still drive back there to get any work done. FYI; they can tow you in if you need it.

Been to many places over the years including dealerships and most will try to up sale stuff you don’t need. Last year I tried out Jack’s, there was no up sales, no bs, and my car was back on the road in less than 24 hours (tranny). Great place, the only place I will take my car!

These guys are awesome.
I was recommended Jack’s through 3 co-​workers who had various repairs done there and when the compressor went out on my car I called them to pick it up… 24 hours later I picked up my car and was super please with the bill… That has never happened before.
I will be back and I am recommending them to anyone looking for good honest mechanics.
