History

Established in 2013.

We started our journey back in the basement of our house. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing. Our first batch of shaved ice was horrible. My lips puckered, everything was sour and melted. We wanted to give up right then and there. But, we decided to give it a few more tries. And we found a love and passion I never knew before. My friends and family absolutely loved the flavors I came up with and soon, an idea sprouted into our heads: To open our own liquor infused shaved ice company. You see, not only do we love liquor, but I also love making people smile. Finding fresh and new flavor ingredients and turning them into a cocktail masterpieces is Jacked Ice’s specialty. That’s how this wonderful idea came to be. And we couldn’t be happier crafting up new concoctions and offering a jacked up shaved ice.

Meet the Business Owner

Christion S.

Business Owner

JI Co/​founder, Christion grew up in Southern CA and moved to PHX in the late 90s. Growing up he was active in the arts training as a classical ballet dancer. Training to become a professional dancer required a grueling schedule but it paid off getting contracts with San Diego, Houston and Arizona Ballets. In order to keep a balanced life he decided to get a job as a bartender and quickly fell in love with the service industry. He learned bartending was much more than just pouring jack and cokes all day, it was also chemistry where you could mix exotic ingredients to create amazing drinks.

With over 15 years in the industry, he brings his mixology expertise to every JI cocktail he creates. His knowledge of flavor combinations can be seen throughout the JI menu, from the Blue Raspberry Margarita to the Jacked Manhattan. Christion loves spending his days off playing in his kitchen, mixing up concoctions and coming up with new and innovative recipes to keep his clients pallets excited
