I’ve never been to a batting cage and informed them of that when I got there, in hopes they would show me around and show me what cage I was going to be in. I had reservation at 12:45 and was told the person who was still in the cage will be done shortly. I asked specifically how long I will have to wait, he said a few minutes. So, not only did I not actually get my reservation at 12:45, the worker ended up cleaning up the cage when the guy was one and failed to tell me it was ready. I approached the help desk(both young guys were on their cell phones, texting, etc.) and said, is my cage ready? They said yeah and just looked at me. Again, I asked«Can you please show me what I need to do, I’ve never been to a batting cage before». He showed me where I was to go and that was about it. I was scheduled for 30 minutes. One thing I hated was the cages aren’t wide enough(the netting). Every time I swung the bat, I could almost never swing all the way through because my bat would either hit the net behind me or get stuck. Also, after my balls ran out after about 10 – 15 minutes, apparently I was responsible to walk over, shut the machine off, round up ALL of the balls I had hit, dump them back in the machine and start again. Doing that wasted about 5 minutes which should have been spent hitting instead of resetting the pitching machine. Not happy at all. I left after 20 minutes.
