I-​17 & Thunderbird Storage Solutions is the première self storage facility in North Phoenix. We are located at the Northeast corner of I-​17 and Thunderbird. Our priority is making sure your property is safe. Each Manager is an expert at solving your self storage problems and will guide you through the entire process from choosing the correct self storage unit size to saving space by storing your belongings properly. It is our goal to get you in a space that is the perfect fit because we know that every penny counts.

History

Established in 1999.

I-​17 Thunderbird Storage Solutions was built in 1999 by Chris Rudel, of The Rudel Company, Inc. Chris is a founder and multiple time past president of the Arizona Self Storage Association. He and his father built the first self storage facility in Phoenix in 1972 and it remains in operation today off of Cave Creek and Hatcher. The Rudel Company built, owns, and manages North Phoenix Storage Solutions, I-​17 Thunderbird Storage Solutions, as well as Elliot Kyrene Storage Solutions. We are proud of the fact that we have built all of our facilities and we manage them all today.

Brian and Viv Stuart are current managers are I-​17 & Thunderbird Storage Solutions. They spend the time to get to know each and every customers’ needs and make sure that their storage requirements are fully, and professionally met. They are a highly knowledgeable and skilled management team and are a true asset to our organization.
