As a follow-​up to a previous posting, we asked for Dan to come out and do one of the repairs he estimated for us in December. This time there was a miscommunication somewhere along the way between my requesting the visit, scheduling, parts ordering, and Dan. What an opportunity for Dan/​Hays to show me their stuff.
Once again, they did not disappoint. Dan handled the situation professionally and without hesitation. No finger-​pointing, which is always a good sign, and immediately rectified the situation. It wasn’t a major communication mistake but I think all of us learned a valuable lesson about confirming understanding! (Yes, even the customer can learn something in such a transaction!)
Anyway, the correct part was fetched, installed, and the area was cleaned up as you would expect. I know some folks might rate this sort of thing more negatively but «stuff» happens and, in the end, I am still a very satisfied customer.

Hays Plumbing has been our go-​to company for all things related to plumbing for quite some time. I am especially pleased with Ian who has been our main service technician and is so knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to write another review (I wrote a very positive review some time ago on) because of an issue that arose recently. My husband’s shower was making a horrible noise and we called Hays and naturally asked for Ian to come out. There is no charge for the initial call — and just listening to the noise, he immediately diagnosed the problem and said if I called Hans Grohe, they might be able to send out a cartridge at no charge. I called, and in fact they sent it out. When he came back to install it, he noticed the faucet could be replaced, as it was getting old. Once again, he said to call Hans Grohe and that he would come back to install it at no charge. When we received the faucet, Ian came back out, and sure enough, he installed it at no charge. I don’t know many other plumbing companies that offer such fine customer service. I recommend Hays to all my friends. I wouldn’t deal with anyone else.

I can’t say enough about the work that Dave B of Hays PLumbing and Drain did for me on two separate jobs that I had done. One was the installation of a new Water Heater at my home in Scottsdale and the identifying the cause of a leak at my Condo in Surprise. In both cases Dave’s knowledge and professionalism stood out. He went above and beyond regarding the problem with the leak that was coming from another owner’s unit above mine. I would give Hays and Dave 10 stars if available. Highly recommend that you consider them for any of your needs.

I had a great experience with Hays Plumbing & Drain! The woman I spoke with on the phone to schedule the appointment was very friendly and polite, and I didn’t have any trouble getting an appointment that worked with my schedule. I received a call about 20 minutes before the plumber arrived to notify me that he was on his way. Denny arrived promptly and completely the job in a timely manner. He was very professional, courteous, and helpful in answering my questions. I will definitely use this company again!

I had to have my water heater replaced. Ian from Hays Plumbing replaced my water heater. Ian was professional, knowledgeable, informative and courteous. My experience with Hays Plumbing & Drain was perfect. I called one evening and Ian arrived within 30 minutes to asses the problem with my water heater. He installed a new water heater very promptly the next morning and was professional and super to deal with. We had a leak in our hot water heater and the water pouring out wasn’t finding any drain, call Hays plumbing after calling two other shops that couldn’t get a tech out. I called them at 11:30 and they had a plumber there at 1:00pm, he confirmed the hot water heater was dead, went and got s replacement and we were up and running by 4:30pm! And it was a very reasonable price.
