Happy Endings In-Home Pet Euthanasia in Phoenix is here to ensure that the cold exam room of a vet’s office is NOT the last place your pet experiences. Instead, he/she can pass peacefully at home on his favorite pillow, with his favorite toy, in the loving arms of his owners.

At Happy Endings, we understand that dogs love to get out — they love car rides, the park, the mountains, pretty much anywhere you take them. The one place dogs don’t like is the veterinarian’s office. Our feline friends share this sentiment and it’s no surprise. Historically, the vet’s office is the place where they have been poked with vaccines, violated with thermometers, and even spayed or neutered.

You’ve done so much for your pet throughout his/her life. Let us help you give one last thing: a loving, peaceful departure for which he/she will be eternally grateful.

We want you to know that at Happy Endings we are here for one reason: We love animals.

HOW WE BEGAN

The idea for Happy Endings In– Home Euthanasia came to me when I was a veterinary student and I had to put my beloved dog, Hades, to rest. He developed Osteosarcoma, an incurable form of cancer. After a long life of heroism, obedience, and unconditional love, he was euthanized on a cold treatment table because there was no other option available to me at the time.

Years later, it came time to euthanize Hansel, my beloved cat and friend, who at the age of 18 was stricken with Kidney failure. End stage kidney failure is like being lost in the desert without water. I was not going to let him suffer.

I decided to perform his euthanasia at home — he did not have to be forced into a cat carrier, his heart did not race at the sight of a hospital, he simply went to sleep on his bed as he always did.

I decided that if I can do this for my own pets, why can’t I do it for others?
