Place sucks.
I had a terrible experience, they were very rude and didn’t get anything done so I will just go to the regular dmv.

Convenient. Fast. Courteous service. Great hours. They’re open till 9pm. Transferred an out of state tile with no problems.

I place some blame on myself for making the decision to go here knowing I felt uncomfortable just even parking here. I just didn’t realize how badly we were not wanted here because I can be very naïve in some ways, I should have left and gone to an actual MVD location but time was not on my side and I did not want to be scared away! I had to set an example for my son.
The office itself, I must say it was VERY clean! In fact I left with a migraine due to the extreme chemical smell from the cleaning products.
The first woman who waited on us actually looked me up and down then said, «what do you want?» in a very rude tone. I actually turned and looked around to see if she was directing her angry eyes and voice at me.
It really felt like they did not want me there, seemed like very strong angry vibe was directed right at me on purpose. It took a while for me to realize why they were so rude to me until another customer said, «watch how they treat nonwhites vs whites.» I have never witnessed something so blatant like that before by any race, religion or culture… or maybe I have been naïve to it, but this was undeniable and shocking. Many of my very closest friends are hispanic or from another cultures and religions, so I was just blown away by the hateful vibe directed at us not only by the staff but from nearly everyone we walked by in the waiting area.
We had to go sit down and wait again. Then the second lady yelled at us «I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOUR NUMBER!» She called it 2 times. Maybe if the all the screaming kids and loud talkers could have toned it down for a minute I could have heard her. I felt like I had to apologize over and over just to be treated decently. She finally realized I was going to be nice to her no matter how they all treated me and finally started to soften.
Then the driving test person was rude to my son and bit his head off when he politely asked her, «how is your day doing going so far?» Thank goodness he passed the test, but what should have been a great day turned into a sad and a bit of a scary experience. It was sad to see him realize how they treated us when he also has tons of friends from different cultures as well. However, it may have been a great lesson though for him to see this first hand and learn to diffuse situations by recognizing it and learn to overcome the anger directed at us. In fact the reverse discrimination made me really understand in a small way how they must feel. It was upsetting, sad and humbling.
I suppose many people in my situation would have blamed them entirely for acting so inappropriately, but isn’t time to see past the surface to understand the «why» behind their anger. That said, the misdirected anger is not going to help resolve anything. It really is sad to see how badly the racial tension has become even in a business setting… I suppose I can’t blame them to an extent for not wanting us there, especially with all the political issues lately.
That all being said, regardless of how they felt about waiting on us, they really ought to do a better job not letting their distain show so much publicly. It was very unprofessional in a setting like this.

I went to their Phoenix location and their service was horrible. The place is located in the ghetto and the behavior of the employees was in keeping with their environment. Their information was inaccurate. The employee that «assisted» me was disrespectful, unprofessional, and outright bitter and angry. She gave me inaccurate information and wasted my time but fortunately, not my money as I was able to get what I needed from the nearby DMV.

I am so happy to see private business come in and support government services. The service here is fast and easy. They are well staffed and lines move fast. The workers are informed and extremely helpful. Avoid the DMV lines and let free enterprise drive better service into those necessary inconveniences in life. GG&D is doing a great job!

Great Service!
Went in to transfer title from CA to AZ and the process was painless. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Plus, when I was done with the title I mentioned I needed to do my drivers license; the clerk transferred my waiting number back into the system and I was called within 3 minutes.
The DL process too was painless and friendly.
I’d say this place is much better than the DMV, the extra fee bucks in fees are worth it.

We had a very humiliating and awful experience at this DMV today for my daughters moving test to obtain her driver’s license. Her instructor for the moving test spoke so quickly and with a very thick accent that she as hard to understand. Plus, against policy she chewed and smacked gum so loudly that she was again hard to understand. She did not drive with my daughter at all and failed her purposefully before my daughter even before she tried to start her 3 point turn by refusing to give a «verbal recognition» as she cued my daughter that she said that she would give before she could move to the next task. Luckily we called a supervistor and the incidence was all video tapped. The supervisor assured us that she would be repremanded for her actions and possible additional actions taken.
We were so upset by this unfair treatment that we will be filing a formal complaint against the facility.

Very convenient arrived around 12 noon, and was done with everything in 20 mins… probably less than that. Was not crowded at all for a Saturday afternoon, went to get my license transferred from Maryland to Arizona and it costs about $ 50…not bad at all. Customer service was mediocre that’s why I rated it only 4 stars. You’ll spend a little more depending on what you’re going there for, but other than that was a lot better than waiting at the DMV.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The employees here are inept and so is their supervisor. I brought all the necessary documents I needed per the MVD website to update my married name, and the lady said she wasn’t sure what I needed and would need to check with her supervisor. She told me her supervisor said I don’t have the right documents. I even tried to show them the MVD website but they wouldn’t listen. So I drove to another location of GG&D and got my license. Also note, the fee was more than the cost of the license (license is $ 12 and the fee is $ 15). In summary, if you can miss work and go to regular MVD it is worth it. If you can’t do NOT use this location they have no understanding of their own jobs and policies.

Why have I never used this place before? I mean I was in and out in 5 mins! Now I know that may not happen again, but it was definitely is worth it to pay a little extra not to have to sit and wait all day long in the MVD/​DMV or whatever one wants to call it. Check them out. They do just about everything…

Very rude people, specially GG&D on 12^th st and van buren, they are rude and they never want to be bothered

This is place is awesome. They were able to seamlessly transfer a title and register my out of state motorcycle without a hitch. I also renewed my registration for a vehicle that was off the road for 3 years. ADOT wanted me to pay a $ 100 penalty, but GG & D had me fill out a waiver and saved me $ 100.00. I waited less than 5 minutes each time. The people here are courteous and proficient. If you are willing to pay an extra $ 10 not to have to spend ½ the day at the DMV, check out this place.
