Business Owner

After working in the construction trades and Home Depot, I went back to school for Architectural Drafting, but found computers far more interesting. While going to school, I spent all of my free time working on computers (I had three networked together by the time I left school).

I worked in Architecture for the next thirteen years, learning everything I could about building, maintaining and repairing workstations and servers. I also learned graphics and web site authoring too. I became an IT Manager.

Then one day I lost my job and I thought I would start my own business. I had been doing computer repair after hours and weekends for years, so why not do it full time. This is how Geeks in Phoenix got started.
