History

Established in 2006.

Gears To You was started in the summer of 2006. Just one year later in 2007 we had helped over 25 people fix their bikes. Through word of mouth and free online advertising we started to get more happy customers. In 2008 we added new bicycle parts and accessories vendors to supply our growing need for replacement bike parts. By 2010 we had several repeat customers calling us on a regular basis for our mobile bicycle repair service. 2010 was also the year we welcomed our first contract to maintain the bike share bicycles for local active lifestyle community. Now Gears To You has helped hundreds of people in the Phoenix area maintain their bikes. We look forward to helping many more people enjoy their bicycles as we continue to grow our business.

Meet the Business Owner

Daryl J.

Business Owner

I grew up in Phoenix riding my bike everywhere as a kid. To me a bike meant freedom; freedom to get out there and explore the community and the many mountain trails. My parents could not afford to take my bike to the shop every time I broke it, which was often, so I learned to fix my own bikes.

Now I have many years experience riding and repairing all types of bikes. I’ve added to my bike repair knowledge through repair manuals and online bike mechanic training. The bike industry is always changing and I love keeping current on the newest technologies.

Bikes still mean freedom to me. It’s great to get out and ride to forget the stresses of the day, to get some exercise, or just to make a trip to the corner store. I believe everyone should enjoy owning and riding their bike as well and that’s why I started Gears To You.
