Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix South Mountain

Only stayed one day, but it was a nice hotel, clean, great staff. Great restaurants nearby. Will be staying there again.

Clean sheets & spacious rooms! Even the lower rate rooms have a fridge in it, no microwave though. The bathroom lighting is very bright, perfect place to apply makeup. The balcony came in handy, so if you want fresh air, it’s right there.

I have stayed at Four Points Sheraton before (NOT THIS LOCATION), I had a great experience in Chandler, AZ, however this location, the room was rather large (lots of space) except for the bathroom. This had to be the WORST bathroom set up ever. For myself it would have been fine, but when your with someone over 6ft 7inches tall and they cannot even use the toilet without busting their knees on the door, it’s not a good look or set up. False advertising with room service menus for lunch and dinner, YET THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE and the restaurant does not open until 4pm. Black out curtains did not even close to cover the window, vacuuming in the hallway and rooms next door as early as 8am (NOISY/​LOUD). Just don’t think that I will ever stay at this specific location EVER AGAIN.

Took forever to get the water hot and the containers that’s are suppose to have shampoo, conditioner and bodywash all just contained shampoo.

Our selection of the Four Points South Mountain for our daughter’s recent wedding was excellent /​above expectations. Jessica B. and all the hotel staff showed a customer service attitude and always demonstrated great follow-​through and caring attitude. In an environment where customer service is hard to find, I have to say that the hotel staff was always responsive to our friends, family and our own personal needs. I sincerely want to thank the hotel in making this special event a positive experience for us.
One additional and very important item to mention — the Spa Package is excellent. Sundance Spa and Salon was great. The Spa and Salon offered by Sundance top-​notch. Thank you Dee G. from Sundance for your personal attention and all your help!!!

Our waiter Moses was great. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable of the menu. Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had. There is no happy hour on the weekend but it will give you free popcorn and mixed nuts.

Im staying here with my youth football team. We booked roughly 15 rooms. This place was incredible and extremely accommodating. I worked mostly with Kellie during the booking process and she made the process totally painless. Upon arrival we were checked in flawlessly and our room breakdown was already completed as assigned. They took the time to help us figure out the closest location to order food for our team. We travel often and it’s rare that we come across a company that handles their business and fluid at this Four Pointes. Thank you guys very much.

Clean, friendly, restaurant and bar downstairs. Pool and hot tub. Business center. Shuttle to airport. I had to stay here when a flight was canceled, and it wasn’t anything spectacular, but it got the job done.

Horrible airport parking. Lousy driver. We got almost to the hotel and he went back and picked up another two people. The van was pretty much full. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be using their parking service ever again.

Great place to stay! Very clean! bi have stayed here many times! They are very friendly and have even upgraded me. Great clean place.

I stayed here about 10 days ago and just wanted to say that my stay was good. Room was clean and loved the balcony. Bed was a little firm but ok. Free breakfast was nice too. I would stay here again. Oh and Justin checked me in and he was great!

Good Morning!!! That’s the first thing you’d like to hear when you come downstairs after a great night of sleep. We walked down this morning at approximately 9:32 am and the staff behind the desk were engulfed in their personal conversation that we couldn’t even get a GOOD MORNING. I’m an SPG Member and I stay at Four Points Sheraton often when I travel.
While I LOVE this chain, this particular location left me with a sour taste in my mouth. It doesn’t matter how huge you are, how nice your rooms are, if CUSTOMER SERVICE is lacking, you may as well close your doors and go home for the day. My rating of a two is because I will never choose this location again.

What a waste of time and money!
First of all, the spa on sight is merely a hair salon/​nail ‘spa’. Nothing bad to say about them, simply noting. Call front desk to check what time the ‘spa’ closes, thinking I could book a couples massage for our date night before drinks and a meal. The front desk informed me that the spa closes at 10pm. So I checked with the wife and she was in. I booked the room for the night and called back to try to schedule the event, someone else at the front desk answered and informed me that the ‘spa’ closes at 3pm. HMMMMMM, that’s not what the guy before you said. I asked for the phone number and the gal could not find it. She called me back later to give me a number to rang to a voice mail for a man named «Ted». BTW, the hours were posted on the ‘spa’ door and on this day they closed at 5pm.
Oh well, I can still salvage this date night. Go check in, wonderful lobby area. I asked to have my Starwood points credited for the stay. Start walking to the elevator to go up to the room and we notice that the carpet is all in desperate need of a good cleaning. Get to the room and do the walk around to get situated only to find that the waste basket had not been emptied. Not going to be there long until we go out for the evening, I thought, I will ask the front desk to get that taken care of on our way out. Oh while I’m at it, I’ll schedule a wake-​up call at the desk as well because the speed dial button on the room phone marked «Wake-​up Call» only calls the message center. The front desk seemed to take note of both requests.
Went to the near by sushi restaurant and had a wonderful time.
Come back to the room to find the waste basket was in the same EXACT place I had left it with the SAME TRASH inside.
The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
Good thing I set my alarm because come wake-​up call time, guess what? NO WAKE-​UP CALL!
Upon checking out the desk person, different person, asked how our stay was. We informed her of all of the short comings and she seemed very uninterested and attempted to line up her excuses and even answered the phone in the middle of my wife talking to her to explain. Not a good look. She continued inform that nothing else was owed on the room and brush off the short comings. We did not respond well to that. We let her know the stay was an epic fail. I also followed up on my Starwood points and she assured me they would be credited.
Oh and I still haven’t been credited my Starwood points. Those usually only take about an hour to show online. I will just go ahead and call Starwood directly and see if they can issue my credits.
LOOOONG story short, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

Hotel is 2 ½ star at best. Very cheaply done. Front desk employees did not give any advice as to how to get to our rooms, where to park, etc. stayed two nights and our room was never touched. In fact, we had to ask for fresh towels after second day. While waiting to check in, another guest who had checked in earlier, came back to the front desk to report the room they gave him, was clearly occupied by someone else. Luggage on the bed, TV was on. Needless to say, we were not impressed!

Tim the manager, Will the driver and the front desk Shania truly make me want to move here. So sweet after I had to get a room due to missing my flight. I had just come down with a very bad cold and fever that morning. Will offered to take me to sprouts to get me some echinacea. Tim the manager actually gave me a bottle of cough syrup after they had to buy some because they were out.
Room was clean. Staff was nice and I’ll be staying here instead of the Hilton for now on. Thanks everyone for the extra care! I was feeling awful!

Nice hotel in a central locale near the 10. Staff are very friendly and helpful to guests Lobby with lots of couches and bar and grill with craft brews makes this a comfy place to stay. Oh; and the beds are the best, really firm with lots of pillows. Our room was very clean. Decent pool area, although the bar was not open this time of year. This New Jersey traveler would recommend The Four Points Sheraton at South Mountain because of its proximity to some good tourist attractions as well.

I can’t believe my experience here.
To keep it short. I was in 3 rooms and even the last one wasn’t clean! This place was supposed to be brand new. All the rooms were dirty I had to keep moving rooms. Even the 3^rd room I was in was still dirty! The floor by the ONLY elevator looked stained.
The restaurant/​room service and bar all close at 10pm.
Hot tub was cold.
Parking sucked and I got locked out the back door because it was broken. Twice.

I can’t express it any other way but WOW I LOVED IT :). the bed was really really comftorable. The front desk understood where me and two others are coming from. :) if I had to name the top three reasons to come to this hotel, it’s 1 very very freindly staff. 2 really spacious rooms with way to comftorable beds. 3 the food here is really really good. :) so to sum it all up I really really liked my one night stay. :) if I ever come to phnx for vacation I know what hotel I am staying at :) oh and btw whoever shall read this it’s my first time in a hotel in phnx but I totally recamend this hotel

Not the greatest hotel experience I’ve had. I think the location is what does it in. It’s just out in the middle of nowhere in sort of a sketchy neighborhood. I didn’t feel unsafe by any means, but it just wasn’t that great of a location.
The service was fine. However, the room wasn’t the cleanest. I found hairs all over the bathroom and bed. Pretty gross.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at this place infuriated me so much that I felt compelled to share it.
I was scheduled to come in a park and fly like Tiffany W., and I think I spoke to that punk Jake or Jacob too. What an attitude; zero customer service skills. There was nobody even at the front desk when I showed up at 4:15 for my scheduled 4:30 PREPAID transportation to the airport. I even called ahead that morning. Somebody came rolling out of some hole with their shirt untucked and said the shuttle had already left.
But that is nothing compared to the management of this place! Jake or Jacob was at least competent enough to pass the buck up the ladder to Olimpia. Olimpia was no help at all. She told me I had to deal with the internet vendor in order to get any sort of refund, even though it was the hotel’s fault! She kept interrupting me with these canned customer service platitudes while basically giving me the finger. Oh and she hung up on me! If Olimpia is training these yahoos I can only imagine where this place will be in a year.
