OSHA Forklift and Aerial Lift operator certification and safety training. Individuals that have no forklift driving experience can learn to drive a forklift in a small class settings. This is a full driver training session not just a few minutes on a lift with someone watching 10 other people. For those with experience, on line or in our office certifications are available.

Companies that need 1 to 100 employees certified on any type of lift can send them to our training facility or we come to you! We also offer Train the Trainer classes for those companies that wish to learn how to do it themselves with quality training materials and up to date training techniques.

Our trainers have many years of experience with all types of lifts and our methods are to the point and exceed OSHA Standards and that or our competition. We provide tope of the line training and materials at a very competitive price. If you have already been quoted by another company, we will match any written quote from anyone in your area. There are many different places to get a class, but there is only one Forklift University!

History

Established in 2005.

Established in Las Vegas, Forklift University, Inc. was the first company in that area to dedicate their business to forklift safety and helping individuals get good paying forklift jobs. We have always tried to help individuals in the community to move up and learn the important safety rules associated with many types of lifts.

Over the years we have expanded from a company dedicated to Individuals and job placement to a company that support private industry, government agencies and unions while keeping our commitment to individual forklift operators.

We now provide training not only in Las Vegas Nevada, but in Arizona, California, Texas and Utah. Our programs are designed for both the novice and the experienced operator and we provide the most complete training materials in both our classes and our Train the Trainer programs designed for companies to do it in house.

Our dedication to safety and the driver starts from our small beginnings and has kept us focused on the task at hand!

Business Owner

Prior to starting Forklift University, Inc., Steve worked in warehouses all around the Los Angeles area in the garment industry. It was here that he learned about warehouse operations and safety. Upon starting Forklift University, Inc. he wanted to help forklift operators not only have the skills to move up from just packing and boxing jobs but he found that forklift safety was an issue at many places he worked.

After working with a local staffing agency he decided to take on the task of teaching forklift operators the proper way to operate lift equipment safely in Las Vegas. With a background in computers and ware house operations and safety he opened Forklift University. While there, he built partnerships with Komatsu Forklift and United Rentals. But even more importantly, he built programs to help drivers learn forklift safety and worked with the local WIA program and the CREATE programs in Vegas and has expanded these safety programs around the So. West USA.
