Foothills Pet Resort – Biltmore

From the outside and previous reviews, this place seems great. However, the second day that my dog was there I walked in to see the caretaker pushing my dog to the ground several times as she jumped up to greet her. Unbeknownst to the worker, I watched and recorded the incident on my phone. She walked out to greet me as if nothing happened and when I asked if she typically treats dogs that way she gave a knee jerk response after being in shock that I saw it. I paid (shouldn’t have) and walked out. I’ve made several attempts to contact the owner and he has called me once to leave a vmail while I was at work and stated that he was available for the next «few minutes» but would call me again. It’s been almost two months and no call back. Don’t waste your $ 35/​day for daycare here. Cheaper places with much better service. The dog sitter will smile in your face but treat your dog like crap when you leave! If you’re that unhappy caring for dogs and cleaning up their poop… FIND ANOTHER JOB!

The boarding went well and we continue to go there for grooming!

We have been sending our dog daughter here for months now. The staff is great and our dog has so much fun playing with the other dogs all day. They can even groom her there which is a plus! Thanks for caring for her while we work :)

Used Foothills Pet Resort a couple of times. They are very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and spacious. I will continue to bring my dog (Milo) to the Resort, great experience.

Since moving to Phoenix from Vancouver BC, one of the major challenges for us was where to board our pomeranian («Sam») while traveling.
Upon several recommendations, we chose to board Sam at Foothills. We could not be happier. Sam has a ‘human bed’, fur-​friends to play with and plenty of exercise.
The staff at Foothills clearly know each and every dog’s routine and what makes them, the dogs, happy.
Whenever we drop Sam off, he runs to play with his buddies (not even a goodbye!) .
We know he is in good hands. Thanks to the amazing team here.

My family and I have trusted Foothills Pet Resort with our furry family members for years! (My parents use the Ahwatukee location). Our dogs are groomed here regularly and always come home happy and looking adorable. We’ve also sent our dogs to stay here overnight without a worry, the facility is clean and comfortable and our animals are always well cared for.

We went up North last weekend. The facility was great. Seemed very clean and the the dog suites are state of the art. Will use again.
