Driggs Title

We have sold 3 homes and have done 2 refinances with Driggs Title and compared to the other title companies. They are «Ahead of the Rest» We had the pleasure of dealing with three professionals: Mark Bartlemus, Sherry Johnson and Jerry Chase. Each agent had their favorite and we were pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service we received from each escrow officer. We even had to meet at one of our closings on a Saturday! There isn’t another title company that would go above and beyond to accommodate us like Sherry did and we have worked with others title companies! 5:00, they are out of there and you won’t hear from them until Monday! I have read the other reviews and it’s too bad of what is being said as our experience was totally the opposite. Look, everyone makes mistakes but, I would never go as far as saying the things other people are saying. In my book, that is rude and unprofessional! Bottom line, I would defiantly recommend Driggs Title.

I’m very impressed. This is my first time buying a new home and so far this has been the most comforting experience I inherited the home I own currently so I have never had to go back and forth with a seller. Patty was over the top patient with all of my concerns and explained everything until I understood. I wanted to bring everything to her so that I would feel secure in its travels. I was unable to get there from work so she comforted me with offering a courier from their office. James showed up quickly with a smile on his face and was nice and friendly he listened to my concerns and helped me feel that much more comfortable with the whole experience… I would definitely recommend DRIGGS to any one in the future! Not sure if this office is part of the one off 99^th ave and Lower Buckeye but OMG do they need to work on their costumer service skills. A title company is supposed to be an independent entity that handle requests from various parties. I was a buyer but for whatever reason this office NEVER gets back to me. Only responds to my realtor. I still have to deal with this office for some final things but I really wish it was over. In case you don’t know, it IS courteous to let the buyer know when the keys are ready for their new home. And it is specially great customer service to get back to the people that leave messages. Skills they are certainly lacking in this office.

The contact information for one the offices is incorrect and is my residential telephone. I have repeatedly called and left messages but no one returns my calls. If they are that unresponsive, do you really want them to be involved in one of the most important decisions you are about to make? I wouldn’t.

When I first started in Real Estate I believed that all Title companies and all Escrow Officers were all about the same. I continued to believe this as I did not see a lot of evidence to convince me otherwise… until my lender recommended I try Driggs and specifically, Mark Bartlemus. Mark and his team have gone above and beyond with every single one of my transactions, easy and difficult alike. I really appreciate how quickly he responds to my questions and how he treats my clients like they are his own!.I strongly recommend that you give Mark and Driggs all your client!

I have dealt with many escrow officers during my real estate career and Mark Bartlemus is by far the BEST to work with!!! I try to have all of my escrows handled by Mark Bartlemus!!!

When it comes to service, Mark at Driggs is the best in the industry. His team is always available to me and my clients to answer questions, even after hours! I always recommend that my clients use Driggs because I know it will be a smooth transaction and the fees are very competitive. Even the lenders I work with have commented on how great Driggs is to work with.

I have been using and bringing a lot of my clients to work with Driggs Title, escrow officer Steve Rogers. We have completed at least 50 transactions together in the past 12 months. Service has always been excellent, fast response from escrow officer and very knowledgeable. I continue to recommend this company to my clients and friends.

Mark Bartlemus is the best title agent in the city, by far. Take it from this Realtor who has worked with many title agents. He’s a pleasure to work with and really knows what he’s doing. Don’t go anywhere else for title work.

Our Sellers reluctantly agreed to let the Buyer’s use Driggs Title for their closing and it was going alright until now, an hour before the Sellers are scheduled to sign and we still have not received an EST HUD to verify the numbers. I had asked for this on Wednesday (which I never would have had to ask another Title company for) and I still do not have it. Jerry the escrow officer said he sent it on Wednesday when it was requested so I asked him to forward me his email so I can see that it was sent and was my error. He then emailed me that he could not find it and it was he error that he had not sent it. We will never allow Driggs to handle another closing for us!

Terrible service. We were stuck with them on a home sale, and as we were living out of town, we had to do the signing remotely. The notary they found cost $ 170, while I was able to find a mobile notary for $ 65. Also, they sent a UPS label with afternoon delivery, rather than morning, which delayed the funding by an additional day. They simply don’t act like they care about their customers, so I’d never choose to use them again.

They handled our refinance paperwork, which changed the way we hold our home title from community property with right of survivorship to joint tenancy. This can have very bad financial consequences down the road, although most people would never realize that on their own. They were supposed to send us a new title, but never did, although I spoke with them and they promised. I would use someone else.

I have used Driggs title on more than one occasion and it has never been by choice. I have now used them for the last time. Their fees are better than double the other Title companies I have used, and that was with their investor discount!
Had a problem on one escrow where the buyer failed to perform and it took almost 6 months to get them to release the earnest funds.
Of course who you use for title is always your choice, that said if you like to over pay and work with a company that can not commit to a decision feel free to use Driggs.
