It’s a small library with adult seating capacity limited to five four-person tables(all with embedded plug ins), three desks, and about 20 publicly available computers. The computers are generally in high demand and are rentable by the hour with a library card/ID. The book selection is limited, with much bilingual — serving the local Hispanic population. If you can’t get work done in the house, like myself, this is a good office away from home — just know you’ll be sharing a table with somebody.

This is my Mom’s library. I wish they had more moolah in the system for a larger selection of large print at this location but you can order from the downtown when you run out of books to read in the large print. They have quite a few computers & DVDs for rental. The staff is super helpful & patient which I don’t remember too much of as a kiddo. So that is really cool. They are closed Sunday & Monday but they have a drop off 24⁄7. I remember living at the downtown library on the weekends when I was kiddo so that was kinda sad to see but lets face it we’re living in diff times & books are all digital now. My Mom is gonna go down reading books with actual pages till she can’t see & then I’m sure I’ll be doing the reading to her. She loves reading God bless her.

The library is small, so books are really a hit and miss, there. Most people are on computers, which is fine. I just really miss the libraries where people go in to read books instead of check their E-mail. Oh well. There’s no real quiet areas and seating is limited, so plan on sitting at a table of 4 with another person. Also the librarian’s version of showing me around was pointing to the areas. She wouldn’t get up and walk me through there. Hours are not always until 7 so if you work 9 – 5, plan on going there only 3 days of the week, or the weekend. Sunday and Monday it’s closed as well. I can understand Sunday, but Monday? Really? Overall, I’m happy to pick up a book from there, if they have it, but I wouldn’t see myself staying in there for a study session, which is what I’d hoped.
