I have been at this dental office for many years! I love the service, atmosphere, staff and Dr. Maro. He has handled all my dental issues and needs. I was not born with great teeth or straight ones!

Dental Design of Arcadia is by far THE best dental practice I have ever been to. It is an absolute pleasure to see everyone’s smiling faces upon arrival. Their professionalism, care, expertise and willingness to answer all of your questions from billing to tooth care is above and beyond. Dr. Mauro is very experienced and trustworthy! Thanks to Dental Design for treating my husband and I like family and taking special care of our pearly whites!

I never thought I would consider a dentist’s office a place to relax! But every time I have an appointment at Dental Design of Arcadia, I leave feeling more peaceful than I did when I walked in. From the reception (coffee, water, juice available) to checkout, everyone is friendly and professional. The feeling that everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Maro want to be there doing their best work is pervasive. Speaking of Dr. Maro, he is not only a great dentist technically, he’s always super upbeat and that also helps with any nervousness! Overall I highly recommend Dental Design of Arcadia, I’ve already referred three friends and they agreed that this office is a class act.

DO NOT GO! I remember my visit like it was yesterday. Not sure why I’ve waited this long to write this review, but years ago when I moved to Phoenix I found this dentist. I went in to get my amalgam fillings replaced. On this visit he was replacing my right side fillings. After he finished the top he told me how well I was doing and I was almost done. As he went to fill the first bottom molar he drilled to far and hit my live, perfectly healthy nerve. This caused me to jolt and his drill to catch the side of my lip. He couldn’t find my nerve to numb it and kept hitting it, the feeling of your live nerve being tapped by a needle and drilled is beyond painful. This caused me to need a root canal that they refused to pay for or do. Which also led to me having severe TMJD and trauma issues. All because the dentist didn’t 1. properly numb me and 2. use the right medicine that shows him he’s getting close to my nerve. They refused to even pay my bill or my root canal fees. I now see a specialist and have had daily nerve pains for years. Worse dental facility ever.

Never a bad experience when visiting Dr. Maro and his staff at Dental Design. They are very friendly and work with you when trying to make appointments. Lindsey is nice and a professional.

Dr. Maro is an excellent dentist. He took the time to explain every procedure that needed to be done. For example, when he noticed that I had a filling that could have been done better. He advise me to return to my previous dentist and have them fix it; just so my insurance was not being charges to correct someone’s problem. Amy the hygienist was also very thorough when explaining her procedures. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I would recommend Dr. Maro and Amy to everyone. By far the best dental practice I’ve been to throughout the valley! Thanks guys!!!

I was referred to Dental Design of Arcadia, by a family member, for a second opinion about some dental work I needed done. I have received the best care, my mouth is the healthiest it has ever been. They have the newest advanced technology for dental procedures. I no longer dread, going to the dentist. Now, it is more like a spa visit for my teeth. Everyone, in the office does an amazing job.

My coworker recommended this dentist to me when I first moved here and I have been going here about a year now and am so far happy with the friendly staff and service.

Have never been disappointed and highly affordable with my insurance. The ladies at the front desk always have a smile on their faces. The first dentist i’ve found that I actually don’t dread and enjoy going to.

I’m new to Phoenix and was lucky enough to find DDA and Dr. Maro.
The front desk was amazing — answering my questions, preparing estimates and making recommendations.
My cleaning was awesome — very thorough and I love that Dr. Maro came in to do an eval before they got started.
I had a crack in my molar and Dr. Maro recommended a partial crown (after a previous dr had recommended a full crown) and a re-​fill. My molar is like-​new and the work is so amazing I can’t even see the filling. He even suggested that I might have a metal allergy, due to a post in another crown.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My family have been going to Dental Design of Arcadia for over 15 years. After Dr. Lorts retired we continued on with Dr. Maro & Dr. Prade. Both are wonderful. Their staff is fantastic and we all agree that Amy is their BEST hygienist (she deserves a raise for putting up with my teenager ;o). I have recommended DDA to several friends and neighbors who also agree that they make going to the dentist a pleasant and painless experience.

I am absolutely trilled with Dr. Maro and his team. Recently, I’ve had done a deep cleaning, a root canal + crown, and a filing at Dental Design of Arcadia.
The service was outstanding and I had a great experience.

I have been going to Dental Design of Arcadia for years although I have recommended them to many people, I never thought to write a review because at the end of the day, it is the dentist. Just like many a folk, I do not like the dentist. There is something just uncomfortable about having someone poke and prod the inside of your mouth.
But, the cleanings at Dental Design of Arcadia are always so gentle, the most gentle that I have ever had, and I leave questioning why I hate the dentist so much. There are certainly other doctors that require MUCH more uncomfortable positioning.
The same person, a cheerful girl named Lindsey, always cleans my teeth. And every time she greets me like an old friend. My husband shares a similar report. It’s like the dentist office where everyone knows your name (in a Cheers way, not in a creepy way).
I knew that it was the dentist office for me when I learned about their massaging chairs. YES THEY HAVE CHAIRS THAT MASSAGE YOU. It’s not deep tissue or anything amazing like that, but I do appreciate the sentiment. Just like I appreciate the water and juice in the waiting room, the pretty pictures broadcasted on monitors above the reclined chairs, and the bowl of hand-​sanitizer that you can take on the way out that looks like a ballpoint pen. I always take three. Except last time, because I forgot to take any since I was too busy rustling around in their Halloween candy bowl.
THANK HEAVENS, FINALLY, I FOUND A DENTIST THAT GIVES OUT HALLOWEEN CANDY INSTEAD OF STICKERS AND SMALL BOUNCY BALLS.
Not only do I feel like they know me at Dental Design of Arcadia, I feel like they *get* me.
I am looking forward to seeing them soon when I return to get my cavity filled!

I have been a patient at Dental Design of Arcadia since I was a young child and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is what keeps me coming back.
This office has everything you would want in a dentist and more. The luxury coffee and exam rooms are fitting for the upscale area in which the office is located, but the down-​to-​earth and friendly staff make everyone feel at home.
When I was young I had a terrible cavity and I went through a lot of pain when the filling was put in, but my dentist, Dr. Maro, was so empathetic that he called my house personally that evening to check on how I was doing.
If I ever move, finding a dentist’s office that can rival the quality and service of Dental Design of Arcadia will be a nearly impossible feat.

Honestly have a pretty good phobia of dentists and dental work in specific. I have NEVER had a dentist or dental office that I have raved about as much as I do Dental Design of Arcadia. In fact, I’ve referred at least 4 of my office staff to them. I adore them! The staff is beyond friendly, competent and accommodating; Dr. Maro is sensitive and caring! I’ve had ALL of the issues I’ve been putting off for years (no exaggeration) completed in the last 10 months and finally have a good bill of dental health. I’m keeping them as my dentists and –highly– recommend them!

I moved to Arizona over two years ago and was nervous about finding a new dentist. I had had the same one since I was a child and the idea of a stranger working on my teeth scared me. Any concerns I had went away as soon as I walked up to the check-​in counter. The girls were peppy and nice, and I was immediately put at ease. This feeling continued to the very end, through the dental hygienist (Lindsay is amazing), to Dr. Maro. I ended up with a couple cavities (shame on me), and they fixed them the following week — completely pain free! I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new dentist and would love a laid back, yet professional atmosphere that Dental Design of Arcadia provides!

Best dentist by far! I moved to AZ about 7 years ago from MN and avoided finding a new dentist at all costs. Dental Design of Arcadia was right in my neighborhood so I decided to give them a try. First impression of the office and staff was great, everyone there is so friendly. The office is nice and new with very updated technology throughout. I had my wisdom teeth removed and it was very smooth, they took care of me well. I continue to go here for all my dental appointments. I definitely recommend Dental Design of Arcadia!!!

I had met Dr Maro in 2011 when I was managing a local bank in the area. After a brief conversation, he gave me his card since he knew I was new in town and needed a Dentist… (great sales person) :). Well recently I’ve been having a bad toothache where I couldn’t even chew on one side of my mouth. I don’t know many Dentists in this area, so I started going through my pile of business cards…(We always seem to get a stack of business cards suddenly, don’t we?) Well I found his card and remembered exactly who he was! Great 1^st impression huh?
My sister is also dentist but resides in Michigan, so I called her about my nagging tooth pain. After a week of med’s that didn’t work, she pushed me to go check it out. I decided to call and make an appt with Dr Maro/​Dental Design of Arcadia, and what a pleasant surprise! Everyone on staff was super nice and welcoming. I felt so at home.
As far as the visit itself, I had to be referred out to a specialist but their extraordinary service made me schedule a cleaning in a few weeks. Keep up the great work and shhhhhh, don’t tell my sis even though she lives in another state. haha.

I live about 4 minutes away which is good because I’m always running late. I usually get there right at or just before my scheduled appointment time. I hate it when establishments make you wait beyond your scheduled time. Who cares if I get there right on time, as long as you don’t have any paperwork to fill out right? This practice is actually out of my network but I keep going there because A) I find their reminder system helpful and B) they are respectful of your time.
The expertise and general niceness is also there, just out-​shined by their appointment practices in my book. :)
