Dr. Moyer and his staff are great! I always leave feeling confident I got the best treatment.

I have been going to Dr. Moyer now for two years after some very bad experiences with other dentists. I find the other review on Unilocal extremely difficult to believe and is probably just someone doing it maliciously. I can promise you that as someone who has had 20 root canals, crowns replaced over and over and 2 very difficult dental implants, that Dr. Moyer is a true expert in his field. My entire family goes to Dr. Moyer and he has provided us top notch care for over 2 years now and has never been anything but a true professional as are his staff. The other reviewer mentioned his dental assistant, whose name is Abel, and I cannot believe how professional and knowledgeable and thorough he is. Stacy and Heather are also wonderful. I would truly take the other reviewer with a grain of salt.

In 2010 I was recommended Dr. David Moyer by my father’s psychologist Dr. Andrew Erlich after a bad experience with another dentist. I saw Dr. Moyer from 2010 – 2014. He immediately had ex ray’s taken of my teeth by an assistant who didn’t use a led protection vest and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I was told I needed 4 crowns, 3 fillings, 2 root canals (the root canals were done by another dentist) and a night guard all for a price of $ 20,000.00. The night guard alone was $ 1,700.00. I questioned this but my father was paying the bill and I was told by him not to get involved. Soon my father had all his friends and family going to Dr. David Moyer. Dr. Moyer would not explain anything too me and treated me as though I did not have a right to know what he was doing to my mouth. Once while I was having some work done I was given laughing gas by Dr. Moyer and his assistant Abbé. I was told the gas was turned up to the maximum. They both seemed to think this was funny. I left with a splitting headache and felt sick to my stomach. Dr. Moyer was physically rough with me when he examined my teeth on many occasions. In 2013 all his fillings fell out and I went back to have him fix them. He told me I needed another 4 crowns, the 3 fillings replaced for an additional full price (which were 3 huge holes in my teeth by now) and a replacement night guard this time for a total cost of $ 9,000.00. If cash was paid Dr. David Moyer would deduct $ 1,000.00 of the bill. He would still not explain to me or show me as to why I needed 4 more crowns? My father prepaid him the cash and I felt like I was being bullied by Dr. Moyer to have the work done. He called me and told me to show up the next day at 11am and he would explain everything then do the work immediately afterwards. I did not show up and he ended up having to return the money to my father. I had another opinion afterwards and the other dentist did not know what I was talking about when I asked «If I needed an additional 4 crowns?» after viewing Dr. Moyer’s own ex rays of my mouth. Currently I have no trust in the dental profession and have chosen not to do anything at this point.
