I used DESI for a backyard remodel. While the finished product is beautiful, I dealt with a lot of frustration. DESI was not respectful of my time or schedule, and I caught the owner in a lie on 3 occasions. I was frustrated regarding the timing of the entire project, most notably bowls for my fountain. I was told on 3 occasions that AZ precast had either not poured the bowls or they had cracked. I grew suspicious after a month… I came to find out that the bowls had never been ordered after placing a call to AZ precast myself. I confronted the owner (Dan Dove), who admitted to lying. he trimmed my trees as a courtesy. however, the relationship (already damaged) was destroyed.
overall, he does nice work, and seems to stand behind it, but I would never use DESI again. nor can i recommend them in good faith.
Further, his employes trashed a bathroom I was KIND enough to provide. I allowed them to use the bathroom in my stable. they did not flush any of the toilet paper… especially gross when the tp is stained with feces. the trash can was left to overflow with feces stained tp that I had to pick up. the smell was horrendous. also, the men had poor aim, and i spent every other day cleaning up urine spots on my toilet and floor… after a few wks of that, i put up a sign saying the bathroom was out of order. finally, his employees were not nice to my dogs (very well behaved therapy dogs).
