History

Established in 2002.

Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center (CCESDIC) is a state-of-the-art referral equine hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, that opened in 2002 under the ownership and direction of Dr. F. Ross Rich, DVM, PA-C. The hospital is located on five acres just north of the Carefree Highway in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility offers medical and surgical services geared towards diagnosis and treatment of sports-related problems in the elite equine athlete, as well as the future equine athlete (the young horse). Orthopedic and respiratory issues continue to be Cave Creek Equine’s primary interest and focus. However, we also deal with other soft tissue problems in the equine athlete. We are leaders in the treatment of injuries with regenerative therapy like stem cells.
