This review is mainly for the arcade. It’s mediocre at best and the staff isn’t very knowledgable or friendly. They have a lot of new updated games but a lot of them are now broken. The prizes at the prize counter are lame. The second floor has a plethora of old school arcade games which is their only redeeming factor. Your time and money is better spent at D&B or Main Event.

So much fun and everything was clean and maintained. It made for a prefect day out of state. The best golf course I’ve ever got to experience, can’t wait to go back! The staff was all upbeat which of course is a Huge Plus.

Came here on mlk day and it wasn’t packed at all. Lines were short and the kids had a blast. Definitely going to be back as it’s so close and a ton of fun.

I am a pinball aficiondo. It is very difficult to find places that even have pinball. Why the five star rating? The game were all reasonably priced 50 – 75 cents per game (and three game specials) and they all were in working order (all the flippers and the bumpers worked, which is a rarity). I don’t know much else because I don’t play miniature golf, obstacle courses (40 years ago, maybe) and I don’t play the new fangled video machines but they all looked great.

Although this theme park is fun, there is poor management. When we were in line for desert storm, people kept cutting the line. When we notified the workers, they said it was not their problem. So rude! Plus, I could not go on some of the rides because there were no workers operating the attraction.
However, I enjoyed the rides. They are in good shape, and aren’t too old. They recently opened a new ride called XD Dark Ride (I think), which is a shooting game simulator. The bumper boats were a lot more fun than they look, and a ship shoots water out, which can get you wet. The log ride was also a highlight of our day, along with desert storm. Overall, I give this park 4 stars, and I will most likely be coming back.

They have arcade games, rides, an obstacle course, and miniature golf at this location. Older games (even Asteroids) are located on the second floor of the arcade and newer games are located on the first floor. The miniature golf and rides and other things like that are outside. The arcade games are card-​operated.
According to the family member that treated us to miniature golf, the price is $ 4 per person for mini golf if you have an AAA card. The obstacles here include castles, buildings, and plateaus. Most of the weird shots come from indentations in the turf but they were intentional. Some of the tubes for the holes are a little bit out of shape but you can just reach inside and push the balls out.
The most annoying obstacle in the course wasn’t water hazards or poles in the ground – it was this castle that kept playing a 15-​second song on a loop over and over again! We could not wait to get out of earshot of that castle. Or maybe we just didn’t play fast enough.
Other than that obstacle, it was fun playing mini golf here. I want to return to try the arcade games next time. According to their door sign they had some kind of Monday through Thursday special for $ 10.

The arcade staff deserve 5 stars!!! They work very hard as a whole. The management deserves 0! I have been coming for many years. Each time I notify the management about a machine out of order or raise an issue, there is no resolve.
Ever notice now when a storm hits they close? The roof leaks every time from the second level. You can see water dripping down close to the machines! That’s been happening over 10 years.
There were 3 stools available in the arcade. Now all are gone. I noticed one outside in the front and one in the new arcade game indoors next to the card swipe. Each time I I walk over I see drinks on the seat! Employees deserve a place to sit as well as patrons. When I asked management about it they simply state they haven’t had seats available for months and offer nothing. For patrons that would benefit from seating this is unacceptable.
It’s helpful to know when the place is open. You used to be able to see online hours and closures. Now you have to call to check if they are open.
If you have these issues please let management know they are not meeting your expectations.

WHAT AN ADVENTURE! We had such a fun time. This place was absolutely the best golf course we have ever played on. Every hole has its own theme done to the extreme. It was very well thought out and very clean. We will certainly be back… Over and over again!

I went here 2 days in a row a few months back to kill some time before heading downtown to go to a baseball game. First time there, I purchased a game card and loaded it with $ 20.00. I played mostly claw games and didn’t win shit! Rigged! I spent about half my card on claw games and the other half upstairs on pinball. Speaking of upstairs, they have a ton of pinball machines as well as a pretty decent selection of old school arcade games like Pac Man, Galaga, Centipede, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc. They have all of their newer games downstairs including Time Crisis and a whole bunch of car/​driving games.
My first day there, when I was about to leave, I saw a sign on the door. Weekdays, $ 10.00 all you can play for 3 hours. I came back the next day and went with that. You pay your money at the snack bar/​counter and they load your card for unlimited play. It did not include claw games or prize/​ticket games, but it was good for any other arcade game. Some of those fancy driving games are like $ 1.50 a turn, so the $ 10.00 card more than pays for itself after only a handful of games. I would highly recommend that option if you are in Phoenix and like playing video games. The place was deserted during the week until the kids got out of school and started showing up. If you come around 1pm or so, you can have that 3 hours from 1−4pm pretty much uninterrupted and have most of the arcade to yourself to play whatever games you choose. It’s a really great value for 3 hours of entertainment!
Overall, I had fun both days I went. The place is a bit older and not in tip top shape, but it was fairly clean and the workers I did interact with, were pretty friendly. Oh yeah… they have rides and mini golf too. I’m sure I will be back sometime in the future to explore those options and to play some more video games!

Wow. this place is awesome. I was blown away by the staff and nice and fun they were. When we went it was raining and we couldn’t go on the gravity ropes or zip line. They were quick to make sure our experience wasn’t a bad one. We will for be coming back a couple times a year. All day riding rides for $ 25 bucks. Way better the pop up carnivals and way cheaper!!!

Arcade had good games that were new. Didn’t go to the park because it was raining. Went during the week and got the 3 hr unlimited package. Fun for teen and young kids. Everyone had fun. Service was average.

The putt putt is why we went and we were not disappointed! It was a creative course, lots of fun, and they had 4 different «tracks» to choose from. Great time!

Great miniature golf. One of the best I’ve ever played on. Super fun for the adults while the kids ride the rides.
Cheapest pass for unlimited rides is $ 24.99. But the kids spent about 2 hours and had been on everything twice. They had fun.

I would love to thank Mike Taylor on behalf of our family for helping us get the treatment my son needed. He went above and Beyond to accommodate and help us get through our day the best my son and our family could have imagined. He is an awesome employee and I thank him for being considerate of my sons special needs. Everywhere we were he was there to ensure we were taken care of. Always a fun time! Have gone here during my childhood years, and continue to do so taking nieces and nephews. The amusement rides still continue to entertain us, and the crew that works here makes sure to explain everything well in advance.
I would say I wish there was more ventilation in the arcade area so the smell was a little bit fresher, but everyone still continues to enjoy themselves.
The mini-​golf never gets old! The various holes and visuals on each hole allow for a enjoyable time on a date, with the kids, or with friends. I would recommend Castle and Coasters to anyone young or old, and wanting to have a fun time. If not looking for an all day pass, be sure to at least try the Desert Storm Roller Coaster, or the bumper cars. Keep up the great work Castle and Coasters.

Been attending Castle and Coasters for awhile now since I was 3 and now 21 and I still love their miniature golf course and their rides! Definitely the place has gotten old over the years but what’s really getting old are the staff…
The staffs are rude, attends to their friends first while giving attitude to the rest of the customers, they also need to learn to SMILE!!!
Suggestions to management, change the staffs attitude or slowly lose business.

The best mini-​golfing courses. It has definitely gotten run-​down through the years, though.
Also had the worst attitude from an employee (Dystiny). She was completely rude and we almost turned around and made other plans for the evening. Learn to smile!

PINBALL! Best set of games I’ve seen in 20 years. Modern, clean, level, well maintained. Since they’re meant to keep little kids from being disappointed, I discovered the bumper posts on the lower outlanes adjusted very liberally — lots of free games. Progressive Replay scores though, so move frequently to keep them easy to beat.
Over a dozen games, but nearly half were out of order after the weekend. No matter, the working tables were all great fun. All were 50 cents for 3 balls, but lots of time allowed for free ball for an early drain.
Very highly recommended for pinball players. (I didn’t try anything else.) My favorites were Batman (shoot the Joker multiball) and Spider Man.

Give It A Chance.
I had never been to Castles and Coasters however, I had an opportunity through work for a private party from 9 am to 1 pm, so I grabbed my nephew and we were off to Castles and Coasters.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived but I went in with an open mind and thought I would give Castles and Coasters a chance. I am so glad I did.
My newphew and I spent a full day at Castles and Coasters and had a great time. The mini-​golf courses are very nice. These courses are fun, well maintained, and nicely laid out. In fact, all the rides at Castles and Coasters are well maintained and a lot of fun. The park was not crowded even after the special engagement hours ended, so we were able to go on the rides many times, and we didn’t wait very long in line.
Castle and Coasters is bigger than it appears from the outside. There are several rides in the back of the park so make sure you venture in that direction. I think the most popular activity was the zip-​line and rope bridge attractions out front. The line moves a bit slow but it’s worth the wait.
Castles and Coasters, has two snack bars however, you could leave, go to a nearby restaurant and return if you prefer. For a snack bar amusement park the food prices were pretty reasonable. A personal pizza and drink for $ 7.25 made a decent lunch for each of us.
Good rides, reasonable prices, and a helpful and accommodating staff, it doesn’t get much better.
