Established in 1977.

Dr Nelson has provided optimal dental care to the Valley of the Sun for over 30 years. Dr Nelson and his staff update their skills regularly with continuing education to provide you with the most up to date techniques and procedures, providing orthodontics for 29 years. Dr Nelson was one of the first dentists in Arizona to provide LANAP– laser assisted new attachment procedure– an FDA certified laser treatment of moderate to severe gum disease.

Born in Ames, Iowa, Bruce Nelson, D.D.S. is an almost native Arizonan, having lived here since 1960. He received his BS degree in Biology from the University of Arizona in 1972 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School in 1977. He has proven his skills in exceptional dentistry in a General Dentistry Practice in Phoenix since 1977. In 1986, Dr. Nelson completed a two-​year post-​graduate program in Orthodontics, and has completed numerous post-​graduate courses in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ dysfunction, Cosmetic bonding and Veneering techniques, Laser Dentistry, as well as attending ongoing continuing education classes and Dental study clubs. He is also certified in the use of Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
