Thank you Brakes Plus for always taking care of my car. I appreciate all your efforts.

I really appreciate the wonderful service at brakes plus. They have always been upfront about what the car needs done, then we prioritize. I would rather know what all is wrong, instead of being stranded somewhere because I brought my car in for something minor, but it really needed something else and no one bothered to tell me. I have full trust and faith in John and his guys’.

I called store and spoke with the guy works there. he told me they are running a special 7 dollars off for oil change (was $ 28) so I would pay around 22
I thought that would be a good price for a oil change so I made a appointment for today.
I got there today around 8 30am i told the man at the counter that someone told me about $ 7off for oil change .he said normally he would see the coupon but since I spoke to someone. he would still honor it ! So I was very thankful !!!
An hour later my total come out 28.97 i was confused because I had to go to work so I left !
When I had time to look at my receipt again at my work.
And I decided call the
I called the store same Guy picked up the phone he was kind of rude. raised his voice .from what am understanding is he explained to me my car takes 6.4 quarts of oil. thats why they apply my coupon also charged me additional oil.
But I totally understand if I need more quart oil but just let me know first (I was at the waiting area the whole time) and explain to me rather than later I get confused.
I will not come back to this location because of the hidden fees and the customer service !!!

First time here was for brakes. Went in on a Saturday with no appointment. Although they were busy, still got us in and out the same day.
Recently, the AC went out in my car. Called and talked with John. Made an appointment for the next day. Dropped it off in the morning. John called and explained what was wrong. He took care of getting approval with warranty company. Worked with John and then Dean to get everything approved and repaired. They explained what needed done and answered my questions.
Repair took an extra day. Since it was the weekend, they let me use their loaner car until Monday. I didn’t even ask for it.
All around courteous and professional!

Called several shops and Dean offered me the best deal! They did a free inspection before any work was done, only fronts needed replacement, and they rotated my tires.
Dean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need just what was required (in this case, front brake pads only). Very satisfied.

They gave me a quote of over five hundred dollars that included new rotors and brake pads for the back brakes. I took It to a mechanic I trust and was told the back brakes still had 75% life and rotors were fine. I ended up paying $ 189 for job. I would not recommend this business as I feel they are very dishonest.

I recommend scheduling an appointment as these guys are pretty busy. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment and oil change. Courteous staff was helpful, honest and completed services for a fair price. I will definitely return for future auto needs.

Came in for the first time to this location because I thought I needed new brakes since they sounded like they were grinding. They checked my car out and informed me my car didn’t need new brakes, my car was fine, didn’t require any service and the noise was from minor salt corrosion on my rotors from living up north which doesn’t cause any car problems. I appreciated their honesty and checking my car out free of charge. I will be back again if I ever need service.

This Brakes Plus location gets 5 stars for service. They are the nicest bunch of guys in the auto repair/​maintenance industry that I have ever encountered. They don’t try to force repairs on you that aren’t necessary at the moment and keep it real. They were short handed one day when I scheduled my routine oil change and they asked if they could reschedule and my oil change would be free. And of course it is much cheaper than the dealership with the same quality if not better service.

I took my car to Brakes Plus to have them look at my brakes because they were squeaking a lot and the car was feeling like it wasn’t stopping to well. So I figured I must need new Brakes. About an hour after dropping it off the manager Joe called me to inform me I needed a whole new system. New pads, rotors, and hardware in the front and new drums in the back! This total cost for a new system was going to be about $ 700. Since I couldnt afford that price I told him to just slap my car back together and I would take it somewhere else when I could afford it. Come to find out. Took it to another mechanic. I still have 70% life on my front pads No damage to the rotors or hardware. My drums are about 50% life with no grooves in the rotors. The squeaking was from brake dust and all it really needed to have done was the Brake Fluid Bled! The car stops perfectly fine now! So I would suggest not taking your car here for any service. If I had gone thru with the service I would have been totally ripped off! And Now I understand why he was so mad when I declined the service…

I went in for a routine oil change and was told that there were $ 750 worth of critical repairs needed to my front and rear brakes. I took my vehicle to Honest-​1 on 59^th Ave for a second opinion and none of the repairs were needed. Beware of their recommendations, they can cost you!
