History
Established in 1990.
David Espinoza started his career in the leather industry in 1968. What started as a hobby developed into a lifelong career and passion. David worked as a self taught sandal, purse, and belt maker until 1972 while attending Arizona State University and studying Industrial Design. In 1972 his love for leather continued to grow and he began studying with a master boot maker. As local to Phoenix he opened his first shop in 1969 in his hometown.
After learning the art of boot making he worked during the day as a designer while continuing to foster his love for leather in his home studio on nights and weekends. After 5 years he dedicated himself full time to the shoe and leather business and has never looked back since.
In 1990 he started his current Bootmaking Company dedicated mainly to cowboy boots but still incorporating men’s dress shoes, belts, and more. His clientele ranges from politicians and entertainers to everyday people with extraordinary needs.

Born in phoenix in 1948, went to Creighton Elementary, Phoenix Union, East High, Phoenix College, ASU. I have been in Phoenix all my life.
