Wish I had called Baca before I went with the other guys for my home inspection. The value of having a professional team of home inspectors teamed with a licensed engineer is extremely valuable, I learned the hard way. My original inspector identified what he thought was a major issue. He recommended I call a structural engineer to assess the issue. He used some scary language in his report. I called Baca, they came out, and not only calmed my fears over what I thought was a major structural defect in my dream-​home purchase, but also identified a separate minor structural issue that would need to be addressed. In addition to excellent knowledge-​base, I found Baca’s customer service to be unrivaled. Easy to reach via phone or email. Will definitely be using them again for my design/​engineer needs.

As s realtor, I expect a thorough and professional inspection of the home my buyers are under contract with. I am impressed by this company ! They show up on time, cover the house inside, outside, top to bottom. I have used BBaca Engineering to inspect the past 3 homes I’ve purchased. Most recently on 8−12−15. They are always very pleasant to deal with. When the inspector was finished, he walked my realtor and I thru the property and he physically pointed out areas of concern.
Buying a home can be a stressful event and there’s a lot of things to remember and write down. I’m so grateful that I received a full 60 page report complete with photos of the areas of concern. Furthermore, they even set up an appointment with a termite inspection so that was one less thing I had to remember to do.

The home inspection report was outstanding… very thorough, very user-​friendly. It pays to have Ralph Baca, the owner and a Caltech engineer, on your side. Among all of the areas addressed, leading the landscaping company/​management company to resolution of a critical drainage issue — by itself — was worth the cost of the entire inspection. BBaca Engineering has my highest recommendation.
