Meet the Business Owner

Bernie B.

Business Owner

Bernie is the Managing Partner of Barry & Moore, P.C., which he formed in 1975. He graduated from Creighton University with a major in accounting. After graduation, he spent two years as an officer with the 1^st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and then began his accounting career with Arthur Anderson, LLP. Except of two years as the CFO for a real estate developer/​sub-​contractor, he has been in public accounting for his entire professional career.

Bernie has over 40 years of diverse financial accounting, assurance and tax advisory experience in a variety of industries including home building, construction and real estate. He has extensive experience assisting small business owners with budgeting and financial reporting. He has taught training courses for the Arizona Society of CPA’s and has testified as an expert witness in both federal and state courts. He is active in the local community, including volunteer service on the Paradise Valley Town Counsel.
