Located inside the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA, Bad Donkey is dedicated to providing you real honest food. With brightly colors walls, hand-​written chalk menus and friendly service, we provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere for both community members and students to relax and enjoy a good meal.

We serve a range of amazing subs, fresh salads, newly baked bagels, real fruit smoothies and other healthy foods. No preservatives or processed meats are used — we make sure that all our ingredients are of the highest quality.

Come and try any of our specialty subs and salads. With grilled chicken in spicy buffalo sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, veggies & donkey sauce, the Perturbed Bird sub has lots of flavor with a kick — kinda like a chicken wing on a bun! The Snob of a Cobb salad is also a winner — it has a reason to be snooty! It’s made of our base with turkey, ham, bacon, bleu cheese, eggs, cheddar & tomatoes.

Established in 2013.

Bad Donkey was originally a full service restaurant in Cave Creek. Early 2013 we opened up a small version of Bad Donkey inside the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA.
