I found B&B Appliance customer service and quality of appliances to be top notch! I went in today to purchase a new microwave. I found their pricing competitive to the big Box stores. I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

I have bought two used appliances from B&B so far, a washer and dryer. I had to have the washer changed out several times but it wasn’t as frustrating as you’d expect. They picked up and reinstalled the new unit and, since my laundry is connected to my patio instead of being located inside my home, all I had to do was leave my back gate unlocked and they did the rest. I never had to miss work or inconvenience my schedule! I appreciate their 6 month warranty — they take on the risk.
The dryer worked from the get-​go. Even better!
I can 100% guarantee that the next time I need to replace something I will be calling up B&B.

Excellent service, couldn’t be happier! My wife and I were looking for all new appliances for our new home, she stopped into one place and was given the brush off and rude treatment. But as soon as we came into B & B, we were treated very nicely by Dean. He took his time with us, found all that we were looking for, and went out of his way to keep looking while we decided on a few details. Delivery and install went smoothly as well, they arrived at the time they told us, worked quickly, cleaned the appliances and installed everything correctly. A smooth and pleasant experience overall, from beginning to end. THANK YOU B & B for not being like all the others!

I got a nice washer, dryer, and fridge all under $ 1300 and they were able to deliver the next day.

We bought a used washer and dryer set from them in December. The dryer temp control malfunctioned, and the temp was so high that clothes coming out of the dryer were impossible to safely touch!
When we called, B&B quickly sent out their tech, he confirmed the problem, said they’d either replace the unit or replace the temp panel as this unit had no thermostat. Today, he replaced the very expensive panel with a brand new GE OEM unit.
We could not be happier and will continue to use them for all our appliance needs — they are the best.

We have been buying from B & B Appliance for well over 10 years (2 locations ago, I think!). We’ve bought appliances for ourselves and appliances for a couple rental houses we own. We usually buy the new/​scratch/​dent versions, but recently needed to save some money. We bought a full set of appliances (micro, range, fridge, and DW) for a rental property and went ahead and bought a used DW to replace our own broken one.
We have always had a great experience with B&B so didn’t think twice about a used DW. However, upon getting the DW home we learned it didn’t work. Despite water being on, the dishwasher would not flow water. We called them and were told «Since you took it home, you need to bring it back».
If this was where the story ended, we’d be looking at 2 stars. Our first experience with warranty/​service and that’s it? But my wife decided to call back and talk to the salesman who sold them to us and he quickly corrected the bad call by the other guy. He explained that warranty service normally has that policy, but this is different because it never worked to begin with. They sent a tech all the way out to us in Mesa who realized they had messed up on the refurb (that, or a part came lose during transit?). We were already heading back there to pick up other appliances so we said we could bring it in. They fixed it and tested it in the shop while we waited, and even went to their yard and replaced the front panel that had a stain we hadn’t been able to get off. Then they polished it up before giving it back to us while at the same time giving us a great deal on a double oven my wife had been eyeing. Been working perfect for a couple weeks now and was half the price of the big box stores.
One note: the double oven we bought on the second trip seems to reset its clock every once in a while when igniting a burner. Tells me there’s a little short somewhere so I’m not completely satisfied and am cautiously watching it for a pattern…
All in all, they handled it well. Previous experience had all been 5 stars but it was a little frustrating dealing with a dishwasher that never worked. 4 stars, still great and will use again, just being cautiously optimistic.

Horrible experience. Will NEVER do business with them again! The «manager» James has a huge attitude, lacks customer experience skills. Go elsewhere before going here.

We have had rental properties for 5 years and B& B is our go to for appliances and service. The employees are very helpful and knowledgable. Sometimes we buy new and some times we buy used. The employees have always been very helpful to help way out the pros & cons and make sure we get the best for our situation. I can’t write a review without mentioning the great service dept. We have had nothing but great experience when we have needed something fixed and repaired.

Amazing quality and service. The minute I walked in I was greeted by a professional and helpful staff member and helped me get my new washer and dryer. I had spent years with cehap products never knowing what to buy. Finally B&B came to the rescue and helped me get the best washer and save money. From the purchase to the delivery and installation I cannot say enough great things about B&B!

I was very disappointed in their service. They came out to repair a washer that wasn’t draining. The tech takes the front panel off, removed a golf tee from the pump. Washer won’t drain. Unattached the hose places into the sink and it drained just fine. Tells me it’s a plumbing problem not the washer. He was at my home for less than 30 minutes and slaps me with a bill for $ 100.
I call to ask the manager about the cost break down and he proceeds to tell me the price was quite fair because he was at my home for more than 30 minutes, which he was not, and that he made repairs to the washer, and he did not. His tech told me himself that the washer didn’t need repair, but the manager argued otherwise, as if he was there.
Anyhow, they are overpriced and I will never use them again or refer anyone to them
If anyone needs a good honest repair man, I have one. He repaired my refrigerator, was at my home for hours, ordered a new part and I was charged $ 115. On another occasion came to fix a different fridge, was again there for a couple hours after realizing it was not able to be repaired. Only charged me $ 25. Really great guy. The only reason I didn’t use him this time was because I couldn’t find his number. Unfortunately, found his number this morning.

Scheduled an appt. Called to follow up on day they were to show up and didn’t have me down. Should have listened to the other Unilocal reviews…

B&B is a legendary neighborhood establishment by any definition. Locally owned and operated since the early 80s (I think). Great staff, great product, great pricing and even better service. I send everyone I know to B&B for all their household Appliance needs. I love their recent building renovation and the street appeal it added to the Slope. Any business who spends that kind of dough to cement their status as a Slope point of pride is AOK by me.

Wrong dishwasher delivered the first time. Pulled the old one out and left.
Week wait until they could get another one scheduled then we had to call them. The install/​delivery person said he couldn’t deliver that Friday because we weren’t home but he was in the neighborhood. Really?
I was there all afternoon. No note, no knock on the door. Called again today they can’t get to it because «the trucks already left today» maybe Wednesday. I would not use my time like this.

Boom, just dropped off my stove that no one on the planet could figure out how to get it to work with propane and not only did it only cost me $ 70 but they did the work same day! What else is there to say? I am so pissed that I spent money to have 2 other people come out and take my money to leave me with a stove that still does not work. I am such in a good mood that I dont have to get screwed anymore, thank you B&B! Also if you are looking for used applicances they have a large showroom and even back thier stuff up with a warranty. I was ready to purchase a stove top from them if they could not fix it but they rocked so I will have to buy something else from them. I like building a relationship with a quality company and will definitely come back.

Awful service on so many levels.
1. Initial inspector of my broken range knocked on the door and «was waiting around for me for 30 minutes». I was upstairs and heard no knocks. The second he called me I answered and came downstairs. He spent the next fifteen minutes huffing and puffing like a child.
2. After informing me that it would either need to be replaced or repaired, he said he would ask management then schedule the fix. Two weeks later I’ve heard nothing so I call management who calls them to finally schedule a replacement.
3. The guy shows up today (could’ve swore we scheduled for the following day (Thursday)) no matter though I was home. He comes in and takes out the old stove, I was in my office working. He yells up that I should sweep where the stove was now if I want to. Thought this was odd and I’m very busy this morning, so I said thanks and kept working. Come down to sign the paper when he’s done, and find that there is debris, dirt, and grunge strewn all across my kitchen tile and into the carpeted area. Also, all of the pans/​pots that were in the old stove are just placed randomly all over the counter tops.
Hey B and B: success is in the details, like having the decency to sweep up your own mess and put pots and pans where they were.
Sure hope this isn’t how they ordinarily conduct their business, if so… it seems a grim road ahead.
