The Inventor and General Manager of Awning Pro-​Tech, Kevin Drews, lives and operates in Phoenix, Arizona. The awning fabric on his RV deteriorated within 2 ½ years, due to sun and weather exposure, and he was on a quest to find a simple solution to this problem. He did extensive searching for a retrofit cover, but was unable to find anything on the market. Everyone he contacted while searching, said, «We don’t have anything, but if you find something let us know, because we have people asking the same question all the time».
