Established in 2001.
We have been teaching Self Defense/Martial Arts in the Phoenix Area since 1981.
In January of 2001 we formerly became Attitude First, LLC

Lawrence R.
Business Owner
Lawrence R began teaching Kenpo in the Phoenix area in 1981.
He opened his first school in 1984. After running a program at the Deer Valley Community Center from 1991 until 2011 he opened Attitude First Training Center in 2001.
Lawrence was a strong competitor 1982 – 1984 PKA, WKA & IKBA Full Contact Title Holder, 1983 & 1985 International Karate Championship top finisher, 7 time AZ «ARA» State Champion in Forms, Fighting and Self Defense, 2 time «ARA» Top Black Belt Competitor.
Lawrence has taken this experience to be a top coach with training several top competitors in Sport Karate and MMA.
A 5th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo he has worked with students from ages 3 on Up. «Teach people how to defend themselves on the street and in life is ever as important as training top competitors and just as rewarding!»
