I just rented 5 apartments at Aspire. What a gorgeous apt complex this is. I travel all around the US with my job and I’ve never seen an amenity package like the one they offer at Aspire. The units are luxurious and spacious. The staff is so professional and accommodating. I’m greeted with a warm smile from all and it makes me feel great. A special shout out to Janice and Brittany for making what could have been a complicated endeavor run so smoothly.

I miss this place! Moved out because I wanted to downgrade to a 1 bedroom and I felt like Aspire is a little far removed from many things in Phoenix. But like the good saying goes… you don’t know what you had till it’s gone. Tons of great perks for residents, gym is awesome, loved the coffee bar and even though I didn’t always eat the breakfast, it was a nice perk. People in the office were super nice and always helpful. Maintenance was very quick to get things done. There were a few too many loud students for my liking. Would be nice to keep the students housed together and the regular residents in different buildings. I felt like I was in college dorms at some times. That part… I don’t miss but the good DEFINITELY outweighed the bad.

I’ve been here for 3 years now and initially I might have given this place 4 or 5 stars. The maintenance is good. I like the location and I like the way my main living area floor plan is set up. Some of the management is super nice, but some give you the impression you aren’t their main concern. I guess renting new apartments is their main concern, not the ones who live here already. The breakfast thing on weekday mornings is a great idea. The lady who makes the food is wonderful, super friendly, remembers everyone. The location is great in that there are a lot of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Those are the biggest pluses.
Of note, we have a large number of future pilots that come from the nearby airport flight school. I have no problem with any of them, but it would be nice if management tried to get more long term people in here. The resident population is extremely transient. No one stays. It would feel more like a community and less like an extended stay without all the moving in and out. I’m not from a big city so maybe that is what it’s like to live the urban life. People in this complex tend to have very little pride in their homes. They make no attempt to put the garbage in the dumpsters instead of tossing the bags on the ground around the dumpster. They also flick cigarette butts wherever they please, leave drink containers sitting on the steps and generally take no pride in the complex.
Security is the biggest issue her, however! No one polices this place at all! I haven’t seen a security person once in the last 2 ½ years! The first 6 months I was here we had a regular security guard but they got rid of him. Now they’ve hired this agency called «Blue Steel» according to management. I have NO idea what they get paid for, because I’ve never seen them here. There is never, ever anyone in the guard tower (never has been). If you come look at apartments, don’t be fooled that the guard booth serves a purpose. It’s useless. People sit in the pull around drive and wait for people to come in the gate so it’s no problem to get in. I have yet to have to actually buzz in a friend to come visit. Now that our regular security guy is gone, there is never anyone walking the parking lots and common areas. There is absolutely NO security presence here at all. I don’t think they are actually present on the grounds because no one I have ever talked to has seen any security person ever. That means there isn’t anyone to come other than Phoenix PD and It’s not like the police actually come in the place and drive around. The point in having security is so someone is responsible for driving or walking around and making sure no one is breaking into cars or ground level apartments (rumor has it that has happened here). Police don’t typically patrol private property. That means it’s a free for all when it comes to robbing cars in this place.
That is the part that makes me want to finally move when my lease comes due. This is the 4^th time someone has stolen something off of, or out of, my son’s vehicle in this complex in the 3 years I’ve been here. A tire off the top of a jeep, a license plate a tow hitch and now the entire stereo receiver and the rest of the stuff in the car. By the way, they only steal plates to cover up a stolen car or expired registration, so someone is likely to be stealing cars here too. I’d have better crime victim odds living in the middle of the city in a bad section! This would not happen if the place was regularly rounded by our, supposed, security presence, period! That is the biggest thing that they don’t do that makes this place unacceptable. How hard is it to have someone walk through the darn place a few times at night. The security guard they got rid of did that. I’m fed up with being robbed!

I have lived at Aspire apartments for almost 3 years and it has gone from enjoyable to miserable. The major problem is the increasing Asian student pilot population. This complex just packs them in to the apartments more so than if a normal family or person was to rent here. This creates a strain on the community amenities such as the work out gym, pool room, «free filtered water» which they fill their empty liter bottles up with so as not to have to purchase their own water. «Free coffee”– anything «free» they“re the first in the queue. Some even bring their families and pregnant wives along (I assume to deliver a baby w coveted US citizenship as an added bonus). The gym is packed at least until 10PM or later. I feel like a foreigner in my own community here since Weidner who owns this complex (its a profitable business venture for him I’m sure) has invited in so many non citizens who have no ties to the community other than to use this complex like a flop house– until they go back to their native countries. If you like the feel of living on a 24hr campus in China, S Korea, etc this place is for you. As for me I’m moving on as soon as my lease expires.

Yes, they have two pools, spas, bbs, fire pits, gym and the whole nine yards (which I do like), however, THE STAFF SUCKS! When I want to get my packages, it is always a pain for the staff! My drain clogs once a month if not more (dirt comes up) plus I have had to call over and over just to get someone to my house to fix it. People ALWAYS take your parking spot. The gardeners tend to blow all the dust, plants, or what-​nots all over the cars. The tried to increase my rent randomly because they said I have a pet yet never have! There have been so many issues with their staff I would never tell someone to move here!

I hated living here and couldn’t wait to move. It’s not worth the money you pay, not by a long shot. Most of the staff is really rude but the worst part is all the corporate leasing with the foreign pilots. Most of them are really young, noisy and could give a crap about being good neighbors. Maybe it’s not everyone’s experience, but it was mine. They don’t have 24 hour security like they say, the community center is basically unusable because of all the Asian kids there open to close, parking is absolutely ridiculous, most of the maintenance staff doesn’t speak English nor can they fix things properly, the grounds crews walk around with leaf blowers 5 days a week and nicely cover your vehicle in dirt and leaves. I could keep going… if you move in, read your lease very carefully because you are responsible for everything, even normal wear and tear. Renter beware.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & WHY
First of all I had to relocate to Phoenix Arizona and didn’t know where to go but I quickly found out that this place was the place to be for me. Many people from Supervisors, Managers, and co-​workers told me that this place was real nice. So I called and they only had one available, so I went with my gut feeling and got it. Yes I got the apartment without seeing it. I would have never done that, but it felt so right. I was kind of nervous and scared because even though others said it was real nice and google images looked good, I was still worried. Well when I arrived, I was quickly in love with the place. The entrance is very neat and looks very nice. The clubhouse blew me away till this day. The staff was really nice and informed me on everything I needed to know and then some. My Bro came in with me and as we walked In the apartment we were both really excited on everything we saw inside.
What I love about this place: The room is perfect. I believe I have a 745 sq ft. And for myself it’s perfect. The gym, pool, jacuzzis, free breakfast, free coffee bar, free filtered water, and close stores is such a benefit.
The only thing I can’t stand is the people who don’t slowly close their apartment doors but kind of slam them. Not sure If they even realize it. I had a little problem with something else but they quickly fixed it. Besides that you can’t go wrong in this place. This is one of my best blindy choices I ever made in my life

My daughter lives here. The free breakfast is so cool. the café attendant is so fun… everything is clean and well maintained the staff is courteous and prompt. she just renewed for another year. thanks Lisa you’re a great manager!

This luxury apartment is located at 23^rd Avenue & I-​17 in Northwest Phoenix near Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. This place offers free breakfast Mondays through Fridays between 7am — 9am. Really never seen anything like this place before. This place is huge, more like a luxury hotel. This apartment complex housed a lot of pilots in-​training from the nearby Deer Valley Airport. Not sure how much rents are monthly, but I’m pretty sure it’s not cheap with everything that’s being offered for all the residents.

First of all, I’ve lived here for 2 years. I’m 24, and I still get harassed by management team daily. Keep in mind I have lived in complexes in Paradise Valley where a one bedroom is $ 1,500 a month, and the staff their treats you better. I get it, Aspire wants to keep crime out. But going up to people and DEMANDING their room number with attitude is a bit excessive. The staff in general is just flat out rude, and think they own the place. I am not the first person who has complained of this. Before I moved into the complex, I got told by a blonde staff member that «my type really doesn’t belong here». I was offended, but moved in anyways due to most of my college friends living here. I toughed it out, but I am just straight out offended at the staff. If you are 40 years old, wear a nice blazer around the complex, yeah, they probably will not stop you. But I am tired of the questioning game every time that I go into the pool. Its a pester, and I am done with it. Everyday, I see the staff harassing residences about where they live. It’s honestly so ridiculous. They are rude as can be. Also, the bugs around the complex are really bad.

Aspire was home for over a year and I loved it. It started off as Trillium and was sold to Weidner and the name changed to the Aspire apartment complex. At first, there were a few glitches when they switched companies such as payment information. It was a pretty simple fix once we found out where the error had been. But soon after, they had everything running smoothly again.
I loved living here. It has two pools, hot tubs, fireplaces, men with muscles by the pool (haha), grills everywhere, an amazing gym that offers classes including a girl who comes in and does P90X, a masseuse by appointment with a spa room, a movie theater available where you can bring your own DVDs or rent one from the office. Oh, and I can’t forget that most days the office offered fresh popcorn. Yummmmm! What else could you ask for?
I lived in a 2 bedroom/​2 bathroom for 16 months with my fiancé. It was very spacious and had a great kitchen with an open floor plan. It was great for entertaining and having lots of dinner parties and game nights. Our rooms were nice, but the windows were awkward being up high and small. We had a nice patio that offered a view of the main pool which we used a lot. Also, we put carpet on the patio which made it even better.
There were a few things I didn’t like (nothing big though). I noticed that the waterfalls they used over the pools were getting rusty and left a huge rust mark by the pool. I’m not sure why they chose to use that type of metal because it rusts a lot and looks bad. Once in awhile some people would get out of control at the pool and there was a no drinking rule enforced, which I believe did work at keeping the riff raff out, but I do enjoy a beer or two by the pool. Also, the parking spaces were really narrow and sometimes it was hard to get a parking spot for guests.
Honestly, none of these are really bad and shouldn’t keep anyone away from Aspire because it’s a great place to live. For the sake of the review and being truthful, I just put down all my thoughts! Overall, I believe you would enjoy living at the Aspire! Ya never know, I may be back at Aspire too!

I have read many reviews on this place and I don’t get it so I wanted to share my experience
Pros: Goregous vegas style lobby, and pool. 24 hour full gym with yoga and spinning. FREE BREAKFAST M-​F. Well kept landscaping. Bend over backwards for you type staff. Really!
Cons: The summer bugs.

My friend lives here. Beautiful complex and units

Lived here for 2 years. Very pricey for the tiny one bedroom I was renting which was ultimately why I didn’t renew my lease. I got out as a good time though, my friend also lived in the complex and her place was infested with cockroaches. Later my downstairs neighbor I kept in touch with told me his place had become infested too!
The dog park was being built when I moved in so it was a disappointment to see how it turned out, all rocks and no grass. Also, anytime it rained a lake formed that smelled horrible.
When the new management took over things definitely changed. We could no longer bring alcoholic beverages to the pool, which kinda killed the summer BBQs. Although the pool areas always seemed like a scene straight out of MTVs Spring Break, not really my thing.
Parking was also an issue, seemed like someone was always taking my covered parking spot.

This is open 24 hours which is perfect for people with busy schedules. There is a private aerobics room with mats and other equipment. You can really get a full body workout here with all the free weights and machines. Wifi is also available.

I lived in a two bedroom apartment on the third floor for 16 months and I have mostly very positive things to say about the Aspire apartment complex. When I moved in it was run by Trillium, but then was purchased by Weidner. Like any new company taking over an apartment complex, there was some transition time with hiccups, but once they got settled in and worked out their own kinks, they made Aspire one of the best apartment communities I have ever lived in.
First off, the gym is the best I’ve ever seen in any apartment complex. They have numerous weight machines, free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, etc. They also have a spin room and aerobics room with P90X and spin classes. There’s even a community masseuse available by appointment. Aspire has two beautiful pools with hot tubs, fire pits, grills, and even a movie theater where you can watch Sunday football or bring in any DVD!
My apartment had a spacious main room, excellent for hosting guests/​parties. A great kitchen with an island. My main issues with the apartment were the closet space and bedroom windows. There was no coat closet and the bedroom windows were small and high up, which didn’t offer a very good view.
I would recommend young couples and families consider an apartment at Aspire since they offer a wide range of community events/​gatherings. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is because every apartment complex has their imperfections and Aspire is no different. Overall, I was very pleased with my time at Aspire and I think you will be too.

Two of my good friends live here. The apartments are awesome. They live in a 2 bed/​2 bath. Great view of the pool. There are 3 floors. 2 pools. We’ve been to both pools. It’s not heated, so you have to just go for it. Sundays are usually the busiest day, so get down there early enough to find a good spot and a lounge chair. There is a fun sprinkler type area for little kids to play in. There are also 3 spas and I believe 2 huge grilles at this pool. Make sure when you walk into the clubhouse, that you cover up, or they will yell at you. I just say «Whatever, I don’t live here».
At the smaller pool, it’s less crowded. Still not heated… Jump in. 1 big grille and 1 spa. There’s a little less sun at that pool, but it’s still a good choice if you don’t want to deal with alot of people. Of course, you may come across some annoying child that wants to get in on your game of toss and ends up throwing your ball over the fence. But that’s a possibility anywhere you go.
In the clubhouse, there is a gym, a pool table, computers and a private movie theater. If you want to watch a movie, you sign up for a time slot and invite your friends. It’s pretty cool.
Aspire is close to I-​17 and is also gated.
Norterra is within walking distance. Anything you are looking for, is right there.

This Place has really gone to shit. It was awesome when it was owned by Trillium. Now Aspire bought it and the management sucks. The people at the front office are rude as hell. Yesterday they made it seemed like it was an inconvenience to get a package UPS had delivered. I have lived here for 1 year and 8 months and I can’t wait to get out of here. The final straw today was their solution to the cat problem. There was a mother that had a litter of babies on someones porch. I told them about it and I told them I would take the kittens to the humane society today if they wouldn’t. I came home today and found out that maitence put the kittens in plastic bags and put them in the dumpster. Needless to say I am a little irate. DONT LIVE HERE IT BLOWS!!!

I was driving around this area looking for new places to live. I initially did not go into the office to ask about leasing options, I opted to drive the complex first. After I drove the complex, I decided what will it hurt to step into the office. I was impressed when I walked in (so was my 7 yr old son). Long story short, turns out the woman helping me, Theresa was a resident at the same complex I would be coming from. So we hit it off immediately. She was informative and warm hearted.
My tour was awesome. I was very impressed with the models. I found myself placing furniture immediately. I was also excited about the potential move as I have been leery of moving that far west.
The future will only tell if this place is my next move!

One of the newest additions to the Trillium family, I was impressed by the facilities and its newness. I needed a corporate housing option (fully furnished) near the office I was working at on a 3 month temporary assignment. They offered this option at a lower daily rate than staying at a hotel. I was on the 3^rd level in a one bedroom apartment (900ish sq ft). It was quite roomy and new, and equip with a stacked washer and dryer and the basic amenities. Plus I was able to get biweekly maid service. The walls are pretty thin and I could easily hear conversations and televisions next door or even at times across the shared entryways.
The gym was very well equip, they hosted several events in the club house, which I didn’t get to enjoy much because it was always overrun with teens and kids running around unsupervised. The pool was nice, but once late May and June rolled around it was like college Spring Break every day. They had constant complaints of all night parties being held at the pool. Luckily I was able to get an apartment not so close. The gate which most of the time goes unstaffed gets inundated with «tails» waiting for a tenant to roll in or out so they can get in. Luckily I didn’t have any issues directly but there were a few domestic situations that prompted them to start staffing the gate in the evenings.
Its proximity to Norterra and the shops at Happy Valley was nice. Its also a quick drive to Desert Ridge.
It suited my needs, I felt safe enough and overall I have experienced worse. As a short term option it was nice, and if you are looking for an affordable long term option it should be considered.
