Bill K.
Business Owner
Bill has been sailing all of his life and his family had several different types of sailboats as he was growing up. He grew up in a small town in central Illinois and helped crew on sailboat races with his Dad and he raced Thistle and Flying Dutchman sailboats. In later years he helped sail larger sailboats — 36′ to 42′ boats in the Great Lakes area. He has also sailed and raced a Montgomery 15 sailboat prior to sailing the Catalina 22.
Bill has sailed several times in the coastal waters of California, all the Phoenix area lakes, as well as Lake Havasu, and Yellowstone Lake and Jackson Lake in Wyoming. His wife Dawn occasionally accompany’ s him on the Lake Pleasant sailing excursion trips.
