My new favorite salon! They are so friendly and are honest with their work. My nails kept breaking underneath gel polish manicures so Jenny did a «gealousy» (hard gel/​liquid gel) set on me instead! It’s SO much stronger but nowhere near as bulky as acrylics. The prices are also very reasonable. $ 40 for my first set of nails, and then $ 30 for the fill. This includes gel polish on top! Basically the same as getting gel manis but without dealing with thin flimsy nails. I’m in love!

After having more time to kill I decided to stop in here for a manicure and spa pedicure. I am very impressed!
Let me start off by saying that I am a man, so I don’t have a whole lot to compare to, but I have gotten a few mani/pedi’s over the years.
I checked in and because it wasn’t busy, I was called back right away to Susan.
My manicure was what you would expect, nail trim/​shape, soak, clean up, buff and a lovely hand massage. I decided to skip the polish this time. ;-)
My pedicure was amazing! Their spa chairs are a little nicer than I have seen in other nail salons. Very comfortable with extra cushioning. Even the nail technicians have nice chairs to work from. I have seen places where those poor people have to sit on a stool or even a bucket that has been turned upside down.
They have a menu of options for a pedicure depending on the services you want. I went for the «silver» package just one level above the basic which included a sugar scrub. Prices increase with the different service you may want.
The pedicure was what you would expect, nail trim/​shape, soak, clean up/​exfoliation and buff. I skipped the polish on my toes as well. ;-)
Now came the two best parts… The sugar scrub and massage. The sugar scrub was a very nice citrus scent. Susan must have spent ten minutes on each leg with the sugar scrub. So nice! Then she cleaned me off and began the warm lotion massage. Again, she spent ten minutes on each leg. Heaven! I have never had a nail tech spend so much time on the leg and foot massage. We can all agree that the massage is the best part right?
I will always go here in the future. I don’t live in the area, but it will be well worth the trip.
Ladies (and gentlemen) check this place out and ask for Susan. She is very sweet and does a fantastic job.

This is the best place I’ve been to! Most places I’ve been to love to talk shit in Vietnamese (yes, I can understand you!) They were very friendly and professional. The standard pedicure came with a great calf/​foot massage and hot stones. My toes and hands look awesome. It’s my new favorite place.

This was my first nail salon I checked out since moving to AZ. When I 1^st got there I did have to wait like 20 min, 3 nail technician’s …but I decided to wait… my nail tech was friendly,(Susan…I believe) and the atmosphere was pleasant. I was introduced to the gel nails with glitter tips. She did a good job, but I wish I still went with the pink gel instead of clear, but overall they turned out great. :)

My favorite place to get my nails done. They are so sweet, my gel mani lasts 3 weeks, it would last longer but my nails grow out so I have to get them redone the owner and his sisters are always super accommodating! They are totally reasonably priced and they don’t nickel and dime you for everything. They have a 10 day guarantee on nails and a loyalty program. Awesome!

This nail salon is great! The new owners are present and ensure that you have a great experience. I found this nail salon by chance on Unilocal and can honestly say it is now the only place in the valley I will go to.
The parking was a bit tricky (I went on a Saturday right after a big movie release). There is ample parking, but you may have a short walk. Even though it may seem a tad inconvenient, it should not sway you from the salon.
The customer service was top notch. The salon was clean and felt relaxing. I was very impressed with their selection of gel polish colors.
It may have been my first visit but I am now a loyal customer!

All About Nails recently was bought out by new management and I couldn’t be happier! They have remodeled, purchased some new equipment, added many more gel colors, and the shop is VERY clean now. The new owner is extremely professional. If you haven’t been to this location, give it a try. Although I’ve been a loyal customer of Susan’s for a few years — the new ownership is what will continue to keep my business.

I walked in on a Saturday, without calling or anything, and they took me almost right away! I only had to wait about 10 minutes for the nail technician to prep my nail station for acrylics. I’m very happy that they accept that 15-​year-​olds get glitter acrylic nails.
The process for acrylic nails with «tips» (which is another word for fake nails) went pretty fast, and the woman who did my nails was very skilled.
It is about $ 45 for «pink and whites» (French white tip manicure) that are acrylics, and $ 50 for any extra glitter, nail art, or anything like that on your acrylics.
I walked out of that appointment very happy about my nails!!! :)
I have since gotten my fake nails «filled» with the same set of tips that I got on August 29^th. No tip on any finger has gotten loose, chipped, or harmed in any way! And believe me, I do a lot with my nails. I get clay under them daily due to Ceramics class. :)
I would 10 000 000% recommend this place to any person who wants a good nail experience, especially for people who are just getting their first set of acrylics.

The service and willingness to go above and beyond is excellent. I called at 6:55 PM to find out what their hours were and they said they were closing but to come on in. I was pleasantly surprised as to attentiveness to quality on both my manicure and pedicure. These are one week into this new owners. Stop by and give them a try!

I’m so glad I walked out at De Bön and came here. Renee took such good care of me especially when I explained to her that I’m a visitor in AZ and looking for some TLC coz my ingrown is out of whack. She gave me such great care unlike the obnoxious loud workers at the other place. They don’t push any additional services and they actually added the hot stone massage to my mani and pedi… SCORE! I definitely recommend this fine nail place!

Mike did my manicure and pedicure and he’s the ABSOLUTE BEST! My first time going here and will not be my last! Love this place!

UPDATE — - sorry wrong location– this review was for the All about nails & spa on Tatum blvd. I was visiting Phoenix for a work conference and was in desperate need for a gel manicure. After reading the horrible nearby nail shops reviews, I decided to give this shop a try. I called and CIci, took my call. She told me to head over, as there was no waiting. I arrived and CIci was very pleasant and did an AWESOME job on my French gel mani! I will definitely return if I am ever visiting Phoenix in the near future.

I love this shop. The manager, Mark, is always great about getting me in without a wait. Great services, very relaxing… my nails always look awesome and I always get compliments.

I’ve been going here periodically for a few years, but my most recent visit will be my last.
I went into get a quick eyebrow and lip wax after work. I wasn’t in dire need, so neither was «bad», but they were enough to get them done. I was taken back right away and the one woman did my eyebrows first. After the initial wax, she started using tweezers to get missed hairs– except a process that usually takes a minute tops started taking over three minutes of her just plucking. She pinched my skin with the tweezers a couple times and I finally had to tell her that I couldn’t have her continue because it was hurting so badly.
Next she did my lip, which went fairly normally at first. She did get wax incredibly close to the corner of my mouth (and a little in). Then she started the plucking again. She was plucking at the small hairs right on the corner of my mouth (and once again, close enough to say she was almost in my mouth) and kept dabbing at the skin under my nose like she was getting extra wax off.
After she was done, I found out what she was dabbing– I was actively bleeding from two places. She shooed me out fairly quickly (never gave me a little mirror or anything to see my eyebrows) and when I got to my car, I noticed my eyebrows were noticeably uneven. The one she had been plucking (that I had to ask her to stop) was significantly thicker than the other one, among other things. The skin around where I was bleeding was incredibly sore and uncomfortable. The next day I had multiple small red marks along my one eyebrow from where she had pinched my skin.
I did have fairly good experiences here for many years, but that was the end. I will be going to a different place to get my eyebrows fixed after the mess she made of them. 48 hours later and my one eyebrow is still sore and feels bruised, while the skin above my lip is dry and flaking off. If you go to this location for waxing, proceed with caution.

Great nails, wonderful service. Went here with the wife and kids, I had a pedicure. The girls got a pedicure with cute designs and they fixed one of them when it smeared walking around. My wife was very happy with her nails. Highly recommend.

Jackie gives the best foot massage ever!!! I have been here many times and everyone is pretty good but Jackie is the best for pedicures.

I went to this salon yesterday with a friend for pedicures. I had high hope for a great experience when we walked in. The salon seemed clean and there were not a lot of people there. We were seated quickly but then it all went down hill. The male that worked there started to do my friends pedicure but there was no one free to start on mine. I was okay with this. The water was tepid, the seat massage would not work and the chair I was sitting in had very little padding which meant my bottom started to hurt 5 minutes after I sat down. It was another 20 minutes before someone finally started my pedicure. I chose the classic, which included callous removal (which I desperately needed). Now let me preface this by saying I wear flip flops every day so my feet need a lot of work when it comes to callous removal. They could cut glass they are so rough. The salon I usually go to spends a good 10 – 15 minutes on callous removal alone. Not this place, I think she spent about 2 minutes per foot. It was a poor attempt and I still have callouses.
Now this is where it gets even more frustrating… While the male was finishing up my friends pedicure, he stopped mid-​polish application and asked another girl to finish up for him. However, that girl was trying to start manicures for 2 guys. So she left them to apply the nail polish. They got annoyed and decided to leave since they were late for something so she stopped applying the nail polish on my friend and went back to try and get them to stay. So now the girl applying my nail polish stopped working on me to go apply my friends nail polish. It was a huge cluster by this point (and getting to be quite comical). Like I said at the beginning of my post, they were not that busy so I am not sure what was going on. In the end, my toes look decent but my heels feel like sand paper. I will not be back.
PS…oh I forgot to mention that there was some bad movie on TV that looked like a low budget horror flick with subtitles. It was just odd!

They use dish detergent for soap on the feet. Extremely rude staff. I went in 35 mins before closing time and this is what I get… rude attitude n dish detergent. It would have been better if I was told to come in at another time rather than the kind of service I got. Will definitely not visit again.

This was my first time coming here but this is my new place to get my nails done at! I had Michael and he was a doll. The massage chairs are a perfect touch too :)
My only tiny complaint is that they don’t allow your feet to soak before they get started on your pedicure but my color lasts for 4 – 5 weeks and I always get compliments!
